I'm looking forward to it, and I honestly expect a good game. Just 3 more days...

But yeah, about the forum and the site in general, I think it has lost most of its activity. I don't know if it is the lack of interest in NFS, or something else lacking in the site (new look, more news, etc.).

In response to the OP, sure I am. I can only hope I don't regret pre-ordering this though.

At least we're better than Operation Burnout. I could barely get the word out that Burnout CRASH was a complete pile.

Its the lack of interest in NFS we need to get back to old-school..
With a new Need For Speed Underground.
With the graphics from today that would be so cool!
This would save the need for speed series.
And I am sure there would be much more activity again.
More player would start showing there cars again.
And things would come back alive.

Maybe Underground is old-school for you. For others, old-school is the first Need For Speed. For others, old-school is Hot Pursuit. It is hard to say what old-school is when it comes to NFS. There are so many already, with such different themes, with such a wide target when it comes to public...

To be honest, a game like Underground/Underground 2 will hardly happen again. The tuning scene has lost its appeal a long time ago, you can see that with the Fast and Furious movies, for example. That whole "tuning/illegal street racing" trend is over. And since we have World now, I really doubt EA will bring back the underground theme. I really doubt.

@ hydro-PT I played all NFS games. ;-)
But I became a real NFS fan after playing underground.. :-)
This is way I say its old school If you understand my ;-)

Anyway the tuning scene is still hot here in NL.
And I think it would be a great hit for EA to make a new Underground episode.
Way do you think there or so many players in NFS World?
Because everybody still likes the tuning scene and the street racing.
Sadly I doubt to there will be a new Underground..
Also the amount of players in NFS World is going down everyday.
But this has nothing to do with losing interest in street racing and tuning.
This only has to do with the game full of bugs, boost and the amount of cheater.
