Re: Need For Speed: The Run Trailer
It's a lot more interesting that Black Boxes more recent games. I like the premise, it's a reason to get back to the NFS 3-6 style racing/running from cops. With the 3 cities we can assume that upgrades are possible, how that is though is another matter.
Interesting to note that RX-7 is a Series 8 (going by the wing and light clusters) instead of the usual Series 6 we see from NFS games, so there is a bit of hope...
I hope they don't mess it up, but their resume isn't one that guarantee's that.
Oh and Frostbite 2.0 = PURELY AWESOME ENGINE. I hope they take full advantage of it's physics and destrucible environment capabilities...

Re: Need For Speed: The Run Trailer
lets just hope this will be a good NFS, trailer seems impressive and they got a good game engine now. just wonder how much destruction can be made in a car and it still keep me wondering what really happen at that exploding mountain.
my guess car customization should be there, the box art Shelby is fitted with HRE rims. Carlist should be good too, would love to see more new cars in this NFS.

Re: Need For Speed: The Run Trailer
if you watch really closely and in slow mo, it looks like all the close ups of 'jack' are actual renderings of the game. believe me. look at his eyes when he blinks
Some pursue happpiness; others create it

Uh, no offense, but you don't need to watch closely and/or in slow-mo to see that this is not an actual real person in this clip.
That being said, seems they're not aiming for the real actor movies Undercover had.

Need For Speed The Run Trailer
Costs are not extravagant, I would just like to gather up enough to stop paying it out of my pocket is all. One giveaway a year would cover it.
Its better than just regular donations because you stand a chance to get something out of the deal, at least it seems to me.
Thats the reason for the poll, just to gauge interest and see what folks might be interested in winning.
