Need For Speed: Most Wanted Patch 2 Available?

Hi,

So I logged into origin today and it started downloading an update to Need For Speed: Most Wanted. It is a 463.19MB update.

Is this Patch 2 for the game, or is this just an update to allow future DLC's to the game?

My guess is it's just so you can see other people's DLC cars in your game.

Yep, that's the DLC. I also got that "update", right after I bought the DLC. Which led to a bit of confusion in-game, because when I found one of the new cars, instead of driving it, the game sent me to the store to buy the DLC. Fortunately, it appeared there "you already own this content", so I got back in-game and was able to drive the new car. The EasyDrive menu also showed immediately the new cars for me to drive.

Maybe there is a patch coming in 2013, but I'm not so sure...

Why do they develop a DLC system before fixing issues in the game? I really hope they release the next patch soon. I wont buy this DLC till they do so.

It adds hidden billboards and you can also see the new cars on the jackpot ,i don't think they will release a patch for the consoles versions and its annoying cause the game froze my PS3 two times already.

Two times only? I've had to reset my PS3 more times than I can count. GT5 was the only other game that froze on me and it happened once during online. Bear in mind, I've played GT5 for well over a year.

MW2012 I've had for only two months and it has frozen my system more times than anything I've ever owned, both off and online, so much to the point that I know when to expect it. It almost feels like it's my fault for not preventing it from happening. This is truly disappointing.

Man i wish we could have some interesting paint options ,like some vinyls in multiplayer this game needs that badly, i hope criterion later on add some new paint jobs and not solid colors also the biggest most dangerous flaw its still not fixed which its the super glitch or the deadly glitch flaw that freezes the game and the system too.
