Kick his butt untill he gives him the money? Or give it to the 2nd highest bidder.

eBay doesn't allow you to give the item to the 2nd highest bidder, the most you can do is open up a new auction. And I don't think the "butt kicking" will work when the guy is in Nigeria.

Oh okay, I haven't been involved in any eBay transactions recently, so I'm kinda dull on that. My friend probably didn't know that, but that was his loss.

Yep, if the winning bidder doesn't pay up, all you can do is report it to eBay, give them negative feedback and then send a 'second chance offer' to the next highest bidder(s).

negative feedback doesn't really work, as the scammers usually set up new accounts and therefore they don't really care about it. A dude tried to scam me twice, not much i could do other than send them an angry email

Scan his hard drive, what the hell?...

I thought he was talking about something similar to a feature McAfee has (IP tracing) until he brought up the HDD part...

Okay I was, but I got these peoples Names and Addresses somehow. I got like 5 employees, there tellephone #'s, their home addresses, and their e-mail addresses. Heck... all I need is their credit card numbers and I could have stolen their identity. :?

McAffee - The new Identity theft software.

And about the getting hacked 164 times thing.... I'm gonna guess I got a bad file on limewire (back in my software... uh... nvm.) But it really did happen.

Yup, but this was from Huston Texas. I got hacked from 5 sources... I got 2 Error, 2 Partial, and then that full blown one from the 3rd source.

Speaking about consoles, my friend bought a PS3 couple of days ago, he didnt get any game though, so we had to download GT HD Demo, and it looked awesome. :)

but to be honest, SDTVs are limiting its powerful graphics, you need a HDTV for a High resolution full graphics. 8)

480p aint the right resolution for a PS3.

1080i should be just right. I have a 52 inch DLP TV right now so I don't know what a PS3 or 360 would look on it right now, and I have no way to find out.

All this talk about PS3 and 360 having 1080i/p makes me wonder when Nintendo will be releasing a powerful system. It's been said by some of their representatives that a more powerful system or upgrade will be available for the Wii eventually.

Yeah, except to those that it "fails" to, they haven't even tried it. I've played PS3 multiple times and tried the 360 a few times as well, and I know the advantages they have over the Wii, but I also know the advantages the Wii has over the others.

On a side note, Wii might be releasing a DVD drive (since it can't play DVDs right now) in the future, according to the following article:
www.gamespot.com wrote:Now, less than a week before the Wii is even on shelves for the first time, it appears that those final specifications weren't so final after all. After weeks of speculation and Internet reports, it has been confirmed that the Wii will eventually get DVD playback.

Sonic Solutions, makers of the popular Roxio CD- and DVD-burning software, today announced that it has been chosen by Nintendo to provide "high-quality DVD movie viewing to a future version" of the Wii. Sonic Solutions says the new version of the Wii is expected in "the latter half of 2007."
The full article may be read at: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6161611.html

Also, in another article that I can't find right now (I may post later), the future version of the Wii may even have 1080p/i graphical capabilities.

I guess I bought my Wii a bit too early (January '07) :(

The DVD-enabled Wii will only be released in Japan, and it will not be upgraded to hi-def.

@ boganbusman: How do you know it will only be released in Japan? And though the HD compatibility will have a very rare chance of occuring, it is still possible.

@ Carcrazy: Alright, lemme pick up the new one first :P

I read it on a Nintendo news site, and it has become common knowledge among Wii fans.

It's not possible at all. Wii hardware isn't powerful enough. Even if they did make it more powerful, the case would become bigger.

Can you give me a link to the site please? I just want to read more on it, it's not that I don't believe you. And I guess your second point is true, but that would still mean that it would be possible for Nintendo to make a larger, more powerful Wii.
