Description:

Earth, 2019: A colossal asteroid crashes down to Earth.

The North Korean Government quickly seals off the island chain, claiming the mysteries of the asteroid for themselves. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation and report back to the Pentagon. Amid rising tensions between the US and North Koreans, the asteroid suddenly bursts open,
revealing a massive, 2km high alien ship. The ship generates an immense force sphere, freezing a vast portion of the island and drastically altering the global weather system. The invasion of Earth has begun.

The two rival nations unite to stop the aliens and save mankind. The newly formed alliance fights epic battles against the marauding Aliens. With hope rapidly fading, the player must lead a crack squad through lush tropical jungle, harsh frozen landscapes, and finally into the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate Zero G encounter with the aliens.

I dont think they are low at all, the minimum graphics cards are Geforce 6600/X800 which are considered good cards till now and can play most of the games on max if bundled with 1 GB or more RAM.

I don't think the minimal specs are low at all.... I can't even play at minimum with my current computer. cause I got a Athlon 64 3000 and although I got a 1gb ram I got a 9800 XT wich isn't as good as a X800 (wich was top of the line 1 year ago!)

And if I read the recommended specs... they scare the bejesus out of me.
I mean dual core, 1.5 GHZ, Vista, X1800XT

that is just shocking!! I don't know what the prices of a system like that are but I assume around 2000 USD.

The Crysis game engine is certainly breathe taking, but like Stiggy says, at a high price. Haha, this game reminds m of Doom 3; exquisite gfx but lame story line. I doubt I'll be getting it

All i need is to pack an extra gig of ram, and i'm set to play Cysis on a high setting.. wootageness :>

But, ya the story is gonna be lame, no doubt about it - farcray for example. I did see a lot of the videos for Crysis and CryEngine 2, from CryTek who developed FarCry, using CryEngine 1 - hmm...

My PC doesn't even fit the minimum reqs... 1.6GHz with 9600XT. But 1.5 gigs of RAM.

Then again I didn't like FarCry that much. I'll probably play this on a friends computer.

When the pictures are that small, even Far Cry's graphics look good but let's face it...you're not going to play that game on that resolution. Compare real-time with in-game graphics at a resolution of at least 800x600 and we'll talk. So far...unimpressive.

Plus, I have seen HD in-game graphics and I am honestly unimpressed by the graphics. The ground is still pixelated and blurry. Hell, I think Unreal Tournament 2004's GROUND textures are better.

Waiting for the flaming to commence...

EDIT: I'm not saying the graphics are bad but by the time this game comes out, the graphics will be at best "meh"...
