Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks

Explicit signature removed.
Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
Hmmm, I wonder what the free edition of the dlc (with only 1 car, but with all the models included so as to make online playable with the new DLC) will contain. Probably the M3.
Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
Could very well be the M3, but then, I don't care cause I will buy the whole pack just like previous DLC's
Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
Microsoft Suck... they make you switch to a new OS... but don't make any games for it. Why don't they even have Forza or Halo3 on PC... their biggest titles?
I want Forza...

markteting strategie, if people can get game for other systems, the 360 loses exclusivity.
They could make Forza 1 for PC, but the GFX is outdated etc, so it will not be a great succes

Well I do remember Halo 2 being fully functional on Vista =P and DX10 being there too lol

Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
I'd hardly bother putting vista on just to play halo when everything else will stuff up and the comp will be slow (i.e. Crysis capable on XP, not on Vista). And I'd get Forza 1 on PC.S2000_Skyline12 wrote:Well I do remember Halo 2 being fully functional on Vista =P and DX10 being there too lol

lol bump.
Picked this game up again. Trying to get into drifting... Pretty damn fun, but I still suck at it. Made my first replica last week:
Mad Mike's new RX-8 drift car.

I tried to get into it... I honestly did. I guess I just have to proudly proclaim that I am and always will be, a Gran Turismo fanboy.
Although, please tell me the cars don't look as bad as they do in the demo...

Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
GT4 was win. Forza is a crappier looking version of GT2, IMO.
Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
lolwut?
explain now, because Forza 2=GT4+NFSx25.
1000 vinyl spots on each sector=win
bodykits=win
tuning car to perfection=win
engine swaps?
win
I cant tell you how much I always wanted to K swap a Civic, in a video game.
I did it.

I still know it looks like crap, and to me the handling in GT4 seems way better.
(Since someone's going to come in here and go "nuh-uh" or some crap like that, emphasis on the "to me.")

Re: Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
What? Don't compare the handling and graphics of this game to Gran Turismo. I think almost anyone would agree that Gran Turismo has those areas covered.
Anyway, it's a pretty good looking game... And the gameplay is awesome. This is always my go-to game when I'm bored with others. The racing is fun and intense, and when you're bored with that you can give a go at drifting. And the drifting community in Forza is vast, so it's easy to find some people online to drift with.
Actually now that I think of it, when I played the demo I was a bit disappointed too. I thought the reflections were overdone and the handling was a bit weird. But when my roommate bought the game, I was hooked. You should really try the full game, Carcrazy. Buy it used or something. I think you'd like it.

I may get it off Newegg for $20 or something sometime, although I'm really just thinking about waiting and buying Forza 3.

To me Forza 2 reminds me much of ProStreet. Which actually happens to be a better game in my very honest opinion (blasphemy I know, but get over it). It might just be because I only got into F2 a few months ago when it was released in like 2005 or 2006 or w/e, but anyway. I reckon ProStreet is better. And you could do engine swaps in that flash game Drag Racer v3. Engine swaps isn't that fancy.Carcrazy wrote:I still know it looks like crap, and to me the handling in GT4 seems way better.

And I agree with Carcrazy in that GT4's handling feels more polished and more realistic than F2 despite being a couple of years older.
