if does, it better be with good graphics - becasue the privios one was so low poly, only the gameplay saved it...

Great for the new game. I guess I will have to wait 6 aditional months to the PC release. Damn Sony, and damn consoles.

Rekn the answer for you guys will be in the emulation scene - ppl are working on PS2 emulators for the PC right now. Take a look at
PCSX2 , for example - this is a PC running a PS2 game in a window, right from the original PS2 DVD.
You're gonna need some seriously kickazz hardware to run it tho - that's the way emulation goes.. software imitating hardware.

I didn't know they already made a ps2 emulator... What kind of hardware do you need?

Well, they ain't exactly made it yet, it's at version 0.4x at this point - some games boot, and some make it to a point in game, but it's still in heavy development. They have no info about hardware requirements up on their site at this stage, it's just from my own experience that I know the reqs will be big. Hell, you need a pretty beefy pc just to run a PSX emu like PSXe smoothly, let alone one for the PS2!!

Too true. Still fun to toy around with tho. There are some great examples around, like MAME, for instance, but most emus are best left in the 'just for interest' category..

Yeh - it's more for a nostalgia trip. It's fun every now and then to play those old games - but not for long!!
