Just checked out GT's review of the game and i must say i'm sold, but then again i've loved the COD series since day one.

In Australia, K-mart made the mistake of releasing it today. One of my mates went down to buy a copy, and they told him they couldnt sell it to him, as 10 minutes before-hand they got a call from Activision Australia, telling them that other retailers were annoyed because they had released it early, and now K-mart are going to get fined.

But, as I will be waking up at 6am tomorrow, I will be down at GAME before it opens to pick up my copy of the game, before the croweds come along. And then a few days of practice before the GameOne Melbourne Tournament.

Wow i saw it on Xbox360 and wow...it's cool as hell!!!

Anyways, it's said that this game is the most optimized in terms of GFX and engine from the market....I think I'll be getting this one.

Europe, i meant Europe cuz all the others were colonized later (america was in the 16th Century and australia i don't know) so that's what i mean with "old".

I dunno bout that, I think Africa had people there first and they slowly went north. Asia is pretty old and as for Australia no-one really knows because aboriginal people didn't really keep records of stuff. PLus this is wayy off topic

Got it on friday and im loving it, not far into the short campain (spelling?) but loving the multiplayer! (and singleplayer from what ive played so far)

I started playing this yesterday.
The storyline is pretty cool, but everything is waay to dark. Its like i have to use night vision all the time.

And yea, after a fight there are loads of guns lying around...and there are many types too.

The graphics are kinda like FEAR, im getting about 55-65fps at 1440x900res, AA 4x and everything at high.
SMOKE IS GREAT.

Who can honestly say they didnt see a COD5 on the horizon?
FPS games are more popular than ever, and with COD4 beating every other FPS game out there, of course they will continue the franchise.

Too bad about the WoW thing though... Just kidding, really.
