I love this game, the graphics are really good and the races are fun. When I play it, I race for a bit, then I go the wrong way on the track to crash. Can anybody find out how to extract the music from this game, I know all the names but I have searched through every possible folder for the game and could not find anything that was anything related to audio. I went into the audio folder, but all there is, is just .WIP files and .WIA files. I tried changing one of them to every audio format I know, and they don't play, and nothing converts them.

Finally managed to finish about 98% of the career races, although u only need like 60-65% completion to reach the last race.
Awesome graphics, and especially the AI. They're extremely realistic, example in almost every race, heck almost every lap, i get to see atleast one of the AI drivers spin out of control or make mistakes. This might be different for different difficulty lvls.
Minor bug i have noticed is that some of the AI cars have there car numbers inverted.

I played the demo on the 360 but eventhough the GFX and the sounds are great, I am not at all impressed by the handling of the cars, feels very arcade like. braking sometimes feels instant.
The older CMR rally games had more realistic handling where you really had to work to keep the car on the road, now.. to easy, when you feel like going of the road just brake and your standing still, even on gravel etc.

I know for a fact that my computer can't run this game, because my video card is only SM2.0 and this game requires you to have a SM3.0 video card.
Anyway, I bought CMR 2005, and it's pretty good, although the handling of the car is very, very arcade-y. I asked my friend who has DIRT if the handling is the same as CMR 2005 and he said yeah, so that alone makes me not want to play this game.
If anyone wants to play a rally game I recommend Richard Burns Rally. It's a rally simulator and some people think it's unplayable with the keyboard, but I can play it fine.

I got some bad news for ppl playing this game on PC.
You can only save your progress ie savegame, only if you are online. If you go offline while the game is saving, your savegame will be corrupted...and u loose all your progress, and u cant retrieve it back.
i got the bad news before it was too late.
Also there is another way for users without internet, but requires a LAN card. Using ur lan card create an artificial LAN connection, and it fixes the problem
