Yeah, something like that.. Hence why you have little cut scenes etc.. Cause it is sort of a story. Not exactly NFS Most wanted story type thing though. IF you get what i mean. :)

I know, but I thought the cutscenes were simply your player talking to other ahem...."playas"...

...all you people whining about how expensive xbox 360s and ps3s are, you're all idiots, i made the sensible decision as a young gamer to never buy a console, because they aren't upgradeable, so i bought a good desktop instead.

have fun spending more money on a gfx card than a xbox when you need to upgrade. Consoles aren't "upgradeable" because they don't have to be upgraded every 2-4 years to play new games at good rates and graphics.

One of my best decisions was to buy a console.

And I decided as a young gamer that so-called "upgradable" computers are much more expensive than my PS2 and PS3...which is why I don't usually use my HP lappy for games, save for Halo of course :D. Oh and consoles are not expensive. I own a PS3, 360, PSP and pretty soon a Wii and I'm not even on 10 bucks an hour, and I only work 15-20 hours a week at maccas...

Man, this game gets so frickin' annoying... the damn Dub Tournaments, man. Play it on hard, and one of a few things are going to happen.
1) They're going to have a WAY over horsepowered car
2)Traffics going to randomly pop up and spin you out RIGHT before the finish
3)You get T-boned by another racer at a intersection
...I can keep this going. :?

Anyway, I'm not sure how many still play MCLA, but since customization is such a big part, and we actually have a way of exporting pics of our cars, it can't hurt to post a link if you want I guess... :P

1)1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
Image
(Sold this by accident - bought another but don't feel like rebuilding it.) :?

2)Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR

Played this at a friend.

And I have to say to admit that the customization is really deep.
As for the game-play, it doesn't really shine. The MC Series have always been arcade-ish, but they could make this a bit more realistic.

Can't wait to get my 360 to play this. Which will happen in Q3 of 2009. :|

Carcrazy... try using bikes, trust me their easy to use and you can win everyrace with the Ducati 999, when you unlock the Kawasaki Ninja go for it :P..

Not sure if this would spoil the game but hey read if ya want...

Dont bother buying the expensive cars near the end of the game because once you complete the game you unlock everything for free :D

Haha, I got a 999 yesterday... unlocked the Ninja today.

Actually, I'm one of the few (like, maybe 10?) that can rank nicely online with the 999 - I ranked about 730 (~20 sec difference between me and the leader,) at which point almost ALL of the racers are driving Ninja's. Hell, It wasn't even a tuned 999 - all it had was NOS and an exhaust upgrade.

And thx, I was really considering buying a Mercedes earlier... how do you tell how close you are to the end, though? (I just now unlocked Class 4 cars.)

I don't think I'll like Burnout, for the simple reason I don't like racing games with non existing cars in it.

Aw...

This was one of the three games I got when I got my 360, along with BF: Bad Company and Burnout Paradise. It's not totally boring, but I'll put it this way: I don't think it's been used in over a month - and I've only had my 360 for, just over 2 months now.
