hello!

this is just a poll about what consoles each person has. I just wanted to know cause i'm saving up for a Xbox360 or a PS3. Please give your opinions on which one and why!

You do realise this will start a massive flame war? Still, my vote goes to PS3. All of the great exclusives are starting to make their way, starting obviously with GT5 Prologue, and if there was anytime to buy one, it's now. Just try not to get a 40GB if you still hold onto PS2 games for dear life... They don't play on 40GB.

oh, and if one does start, i'll delete this topic (if possible, or get somebody to lock it...)

You forgot the "None of the above" option for PC gamers.

Xbox 360 but really i should mark about 2 others listed there too, seeing i also have a Xbox and PS2.

I lost respect for the PS2 after mine f-ed itself up...

And now my PSP has problems too...

I have a Xbox 360 and a PSP.

I do love my 360 even though it has some issues before (and by the looks of it has some again (destroying/scratching my DVD's))
I hardly ever use the PSP, last time I used it was in the airplane back from summer vacation.

I am thinking of getting a PS3 just for GT5, but I would not know where to put it

I have a PS3, and a 12-13 years old PS1, lol.

I have a PS2, got it free from a friend it's pretty good, but i'm mainly a PC gamer.

My mom has a Wii and my dad has a SNES. Tetris FTW.

Well if pc counts i have a pc =]
actually ive got a ps1 ps2 and a psp

I assumed that pretty much everybody would also have some sort of console, and they could just vote for that...

anyway, here's the current stats-2,2,3,2,3! (in the same order as poll, with pc last.)

PSP and DS should be up there too.

I have a Wii, and a DS with CycloDS, which has 8GB removable memory, a media player, and lets me play "backup" games . . . ahem.

Since when is PC classed as a console

And since when are they good for gaming? Too confusing for me...

I'd rather just stick with the simple, yet just as good PS3.

Ok, you have no idea what you are talking about do you? You think that PCs mean Pentium 2 CPUs with 3dfx Voodoo? No seriously, that is the stupidest remark i ever saw, PCs are better for gaming than consoles because it has a keyboard, a mouse (which is making the PC gaming much better than a gamepad) and you can transfer files and back up the files too.
Sure, consoles you don't have to upgrade them but they are not as good as PC gaming experience.

I never heard of Racing games or GTA on PC being much better on keyboard than gamepad lol

They all have they're strong and weak points. No need to start a little war over it.

Major PC user here. But I do have one console platform.

It's for my good games. There's nothing like playing a nice old fashioned pixel game on the 1979 Intellivision gaming console. Ah good times on that sucker.

Did you read what i quoted? He states a PC is not good for gaming, now that's a first and nothing beats the mouse, not even a quality Gamepad.

I am not saying Consoles suck, i am just saying that he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Uh, The only thing I said pertaining to you was an example of where a mouse and keyboard would be bad.

And to add something even pertaining to you, playing GTA on PC or GTR2 on a keyboard? I don't think so.
