As for the Ferrari, 430F si the same as F430.As for Modena, I thought they kept the name #-o
Now read your sentence again. You say there is no second gen IS350 and then you say there is one :?

Anyway I am thinking of remaking the list

What I mean is there are 2 generations of Lexus IS, but not 2 generations of IS350.
The first gen IS where: IS200 and IS300
Second gen IS: IS250 IS350 and IS220d

I personally think that the more rare cars make a list more unique and stand out from the crowd.
Cars like the Colt CZT and Vitz/Yaris are rare in racegames (GT4 had the Vits RS (and CZT if not mistaken)

We know what a R34 GTR looks like cause it is in almost every race game.

@RedCarDriver
Silvia S12 MKII is 240SX, the car that we have been playing wIth in 4 NFS.

Yes I am using the Skyline C110,since it's a good classic car, and we are using them and the GTO you referred to.
I wasn't sure for the Holden, so I will remove it.It wasn't a priority anyways.
For Corvette we are going for that in ProStreet

Bt for that minis, here is the explanation. We can't start the game with high ranked cars.
So:
CZT
Vitz RS
206 RC
FIT 1.5 VTEC
are perfect to start the game with.

Also cars I am thinking of removing:
Ferrari Enzo-Not sure, would you like to beat the ricers with this?
BMW 135i
Holden monaro MKI V8
Honda CRX del sol
McLAREN SLR-Same as Enzo, if I am using these, I will have to add Murcielago, Carrera GT, CCX and more
Pulsar GTiR

@Stig
Waht I meant with IS 350 second gen was IS second gen with the 3.5 engine
But anyways you are right

Actually, sorry but no, that's an S13 derivative, known in Japan as the 180SX. The S12 is much older than that.

And:
EvoMaster wrote:Yes I am using the Skyline C110, since it's a good classic car, and we are using them and the GTO you referred to.
OK, I can see your line of thinking then ("include something older as it is a classic", same logic would apply if you were to include a 280Z); but either way, the R33 or R32 would be good to include too as they're pretty iconic as well.

And, please don't remove the CRX del Sol unless you're going to replace it with the CRX SiR or something - it would make a good starter car, at least a better fit than the super-economy cars you listed (sorry, but economy cars like that don't really work as no matter what you do to them they don't have much potential; this was probably your intention but honestly, they're not much fun to drive). Going with that, a good starter car list would be something like:

- CRX
- Ford Probe
- Toyota Curren
- Honda City Turbo
- Nissan Sentra (as close to an economy car as you could probably get without making it not fun to drive)
- Mazda MX-6 (that isn't a typo, I do mean MX-6 rather than MX-5)
...or basically any of the slower cars from the "Sport Compact Car" category in Wikipedia.

You can say that these new GTis aren't fast, their not economy cars.
What would you expect for these car, having 1.8 engines?
The list you showed is not interesting at all.
And for the silvia, 240SX is em like a facelift to S12.............................................
Or that was what I knew til now.
It seems that after S12 Nissan released 2 versions of S13, the one we are talking about and the Japanese version

If you like delSol so much I am gonna let it in ;p
Also what about the supercars?
This is the list I am thinking:
Ferrari F430
Lamborghini Gallardo
Audi R8
BMW M3 E92
AUDI RS4
CORVETTE C6 ZO6
DODGE VIPER SRT10
PORSCHE 911 Turbo
Nissan GTR
BENZ C63 AMG or CL63
LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO
FORD GT
PORSCHE CARRERA GT
McLAREN-MERCEDES SLR
ASTON MARTIN DB9
LOTUS ESPRIT V8

Meh, I don't care much for the del Sol, I'm just saying I care about it more than the Toyota Yaris / Vitz :P

And, again, the 240SX is based upon the S13 and was offered alongside it as the 180SX in Japan. The S12 was before but the difference between the S12 and S13 is far more than a cosmetic facelift.

As for the supercar list, you have Gallardo listed twice and the Carrera GT has more horsepower than (I think) any of the other cars on that list, meaning that serious online balance problems may occur; however, great job otherwise.

Again, if you're going to put in the Carrera GT you may as well throw in the Saleen S7 and Koenigsegg CC8S, for balance reasons... or take out the Carrera GT.

And, if you want unique cars, you may want the Noble M15 as well as I haven't seen it in ANY racing game yet.

Otherwise, again, nice work on trimming down a huge list (ALL the supercars you could have included) into a smaller one that contains the most "important" ones (the ones most in demand in a game).

Also, again, I'll be happy to do any various jobs you may want me to do. Not sure what I can do for you until I learn C or whatever language you're going to be using, and/or until I learn to model, but I'll be happy to do anything else.

Well Carrera GT can compete with SLR, Gallardo LP560(instead of normal one),Viper SRT10, or the Saleen S7 which can ve a good addition in the list. All the others are sure in except the British cars.

Also, if you want to participate, what can you do?I would prefer you learn modeling, but whatever is better for you.
But don't learn in zmodeler, download 3DS MAX from a torrent site.

Well, I can make textures for the cars / car models. If you need temporary car sounds I can find some. Basically if you have any odd jobs like that I'll do my best to work those out.

Have to agree on that, the list of (relatively) big and slow FWD cars you listed is anything BUT a interesting list of starter cars.

small hatchbacks are a good startingpoint for a racing game, they are fun and frisky (2 things you can't say about cars like the Ford Probe and MX6.
You clearly haven't ever driven a small hatchback have you?

A good racing game always has relative slow cars that are simple to drive (small FWD cars) to get to know the game/tracks

My choice would be a small range of 100-150 HP cars: (give or take)
cars like:
- Citroën C2 VTS '06
- Honda FIT 1.5 VTEC '06
- Mazda 2 GT-M '08
- Mitsubishi Colt CZC Turbo '06
- Nissan Micra 160 SR '05
- Proton Satria Neo R3 '08
- Suzuki Swift 1.6 Sport '05
- Toyota Vitz RS Turbo '03
- Volkswagen Polo GTI '01

Could not think of any small US FWD cars.... but then did they ever make small cars....

I know, but (and maybe it's part of being an American) a YARIS?! I can't see one going much faster than maybe 120MPH no matter what you do to it short of dropping in a 2JZ or something.

If they actually do make a higher trim level, I've never heard of it; again, blame the fact that I'm American. lol.

EDIT: Yeah, I looked on Wikipedia and it sounds OK; 150HP with a turbocharger? Fine. I guess I freaked out because it sounded like a base-model Yaris because I didn't see the "RS" part  and I've never heard of the RS trim level.

Though I do agree with you that smaller hatchbacks are better - I stand by my choice of the CRX SiR (the '88 one) and the City Turbo, but the Probe and MX-6 probably aren't good choices as they're more sedan-like. How about a Geo Storm? It's much smaller than the MX-6 and (I've heard) performs pretty decently. And about the MX-6: nah, MX-3 works better but is still a little overpowered for a first car.

Miata 2nd gen
240sx S13
AE86
Escort MKI
ME E30

@RedCarDriver:
Well, I was thinking yesterday about car sounds so you will be help.
Also for 3ds Max if you prefer to buy it I have no problem :D

You would be suprised what a stock Yaris can do I managed to reach 180 kmh (around 110 mph) and that was with a EU Base model 1.0 engine (180 on the speedo so lower in real speed)

The RS is a Japanese version. never sold outside Japan, Europe only had the 1.5 Yaris T-Sport wich is just the normal 110 hp 1.5 egine that is also found in the US Echo (US Yaris Sedan, and Canadian Yaris Hatch)
The last version of the Yaris is now sold in Europe with a 1.8 engine and 140 hp, also in the TS trim (T-Sport)

@EvoMaster:

I wasn't saying you should add them to your list it was just a list of cars that could be used as Starter cars in a racing game.

If you want me to start working on (temporary) car sounds I can start now. I'll have something whipped up for basically any car you can throw at me pretty quickly.

(It won't be more than a single looping file until / unless you've got the final format down.)
