That's a bad thing in my view. Very bad.Zero260 wrote:I'm satisfied, but it doesn't feel all that different from Forza 2. Which is a good thing, I suppose. I'm just looking forward more to the new tracks and the hundreds of new cars to drive and customize!

Achievement list has been released.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Easy achievements. Well, guess I'm not interested in achievements anyway.
Can't wait for it! Hope to get it on Thursday.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Fujimi Kaido is a really nice track. great for drifting and also a lovely hillclimb track.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Just got the game on N.A. release day. Must say, I'm extremely impressed with the tracks on the Amalfi Coast. Gorgeous scenery, tight turns and different pavements all make it a pretty intense, enjoyable drive. Not to mention the photos taken there, which are orgasmic.
Kinda wish there were a few more different environments, though. The ones recycled from Forza 2 are actually quite boring.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
I expect there to be more tracks as DLC, the same happened with FM2.
There are already 2 DLC tracks, together with the legends pack, but since you got the game you already know that cause you get a redeemcode with it.
But I would really like to get a complete new track for FM3, something like Spa-Francorchamps, Nurburg GP track or something like that.
We do have most legendary tracks already (LeMans, Nurburgring, Sebering, Suzuka etc)
I personally love that Fujimi Kaido made a return from FM1, and in bigger and better form, some fictional tracks like Sedona I don't care about but, he the more the better.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
That's true, but I'm not a fan of DLC. I'll probably end up getting at least 1 DLC pack that they release, but that's only because I have some remaining MS points. And yes, I did redeem the code to get the 2 DLC tracks along with the 10 classic cars (which look great).
I agree with the completely new track, but I wish that they took advantage of environments that are actually beautiful to race in, like they did with the Amalfi Coast and Fujimi Kaido. They could even create fictitious ones based on different regions in the world and it would add so much more to the game.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Well I'm already glad that the amount of tracks is more then that of FM2, they used basicly all FM2 tracks (Including the DLC tracks) and added Fujimi Kaido from FM2 (twice as big as in FM1) and added 2 real world tracks and some fictional tracks, including the very nice (and pain in the *ss to race high end cars on) Amalfi Coast.
I don't think they did a bad job in the tracks department, and I have a feeling there will be more tracks to come, sadly just like in FM2 the tracks will be basicly Online use only, and not playeble in careermode.....
There are always things they could have done better, bigger and nicer, but overall I think they gave us a solid game, and I have to say I was impressed by the amount of detail that the carmodels have, I expected and wanted it to be higher and better then FM2 (cause FM2 lacked some serious detail and had some things games of that age should no longer have in terms of detail (closed backside of the wheels for instance)
But looking at the carmodels of FM3 they hugely increased the amount of detail, in screenshots the interiors look very plastic like but in the game they look a lot more realistic, and thinking that they did that in just 2 years, sure a lot of the cars are exactly the same cars as in FM2, and some could/should have been updated to the never versions or the never versions added to the game as well.
Like said there is always something to complain if we want to.

Sooo did anyone else run into the barrier at full speed the first time they drove the New York circuit? I was not expecting that.

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
The first time I encountered those barriers I was driving a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, so luckily I managed to avoid them, but they were surprising! Definitely makes things more interesting, though.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Yeah I ploughed straight into them
They are tricky, a bit to much speed and you are done.
Ooh I just read there will be a FREE dlc with 3 Hyundai cars and will be availeble Noverber 17th
It's not big but hé, it's free

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Rented this game for a few days. Thank god it's nothing like F2.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Haha oh wow... Sucks for the painters that spent days making replicas of Millen's car. Definitely looking forward to driving that car though - it's pretty much legendary at this point (after breaking records at Pikes Peak, and competing in multiple types of motorsport).

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
firetruck I love this game, it's a shame I didn't have enough money to buy it. For some reason there's a hell of a lot of fun in planting a NASCAR motor in an IROC-Z 'Maro and watching it do nothing but fry the tyres all the way through 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I do have to say: Gran Turismo has some competition.
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
I'm afraid that this will be the only free DLC, cause in FM2 there was a 3 car free DLC sponsored by Nissan USA, and you got the new Sentra (promotion) new Altima and 350Z touring, so also 3 cars.
In FM2 there was always 1 free car with each car pack, if you downloaded that car you could see the other cars in the game if you played online and someone had a DLC car, if you didn't download it you saw a ghost file that was the shape of "a" car.
I think they will do the same for FM3.
In December there will be a DLC with atleast the Ferrari 458 Italia
But I got the feeling we will see these cars in DLC aswell:
- Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 (the Superleggera was a DLC for FM2)
- Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce (the LP640 was a DLC for FM2)
- Nissan GT-R (there must be a reason why it didn't make it in the full game, cause there was a early screenshot of the GT-R)
- Fiat Punto Abarth SS (you got the option to install a Punto SS engine in the Fiat 500 Abarth)
- Lexus LFA (the car is now official so....)

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - Full OFFICIAL CARLIST!
Just started to play this, quite fun. Getting into this game while having 10 other is going to be tough
Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - 2nd Carpack DLC 8-12-09
Turn 10 is revealing their first full DLC pack 1-2 cars a day.
The pack will consist of 10 cars, 1 car will be also be available as separate Free DLC (this also lets you see the other cars instead of them being ghosts)
The pack will cost 400 MS points.
Revealed till now:
- Aston Martin #007 Aston Martin Racing Lola B08/60 '09
- Audi S4 '10
- Audi R15 TDI #2 Audi Sport Team Joest '09
- Ferrari 458 Italia '10
- Jaguar XFR '10
- Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce '10
- McLaren Mercedes SLR Sterling Moss '10
- Porsche Panamera Turbo '10
2 more cars to be revealed the next few days.
IMO it's already a nice DLC, I just love the LP670
Turn 10 Reveals "spyshots" the day before they release the cars, for fans to guess what they will reveal next.
1 of the last 2 cars to be revealed is almost certainly the Nissan GTR (Spec-V), almost everyone is sure about that, and I have to agree it does look like it (see spyshot below), they are not sure about the second one, guesses are: Ferrari 599XX, Ford Mustang (GT500) '10, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, 180SX and more, but I think the other pic is just so vague that they just guess what they want to see

Re: Forza Motorsport 3 - 2nd Carpack DLC 8-12-09
Nice, I have something to spend my extra M$ points on. Can't wait to tear s*it up in the 458 Italia.
