I just tried Dirt 2 and I can't even get through the "first_race.bik" video. Apparently you can't skip it. The first few videos saying racist stuff like "AMD" and "Intel" and "Codemasters" ran well. Then, when I got to the one-choice menu the FPS was probably about 1. And then a video started and the FPS was still bad. IT WAS A GODDAMN PRE-RENDERED VIDEO and it couldn't run solid.
I have an AMD Athlon X2 6000+ processor,
a Radeon HD4850 card,
2GB of RAM,
Windows XP.
EDIT: I sat patiently and watched through the slideshow they call video and got to a scene with someone checking his mobile phone (not pre-rendered) and it ran smooth for some reason. But as soon as I got into the caravan menu thing the FPS dropped again. Wtf?
EDIT2: I found a hotfix on AMD website which fixes everything.

Strange, googling "amd radeon dirt 2 hotfix" got it in the first result.
