Too be honest I started playing GTA3 again, though this time with different cars. The game looks totally different now :) It gained on fun rating :) :) :)

Try some cars here: http://www.gta3.net
It's in german, but it's easy to find your way to cars.

It's a very very nice game but it needs a good machine to run smooth.I'm running it on a pentium4 1700Mhz with Nvidia Riva and most of the time everything is running veeeerrry slow. But that doesn't stop me..

Well it's running in 640x480x16 and the video card is Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 (we have the same one:) ).But I'm not complaining..The readme says that it needs a 32Mb video card just to run.

Have you tryed Vice City, with my p3 750, VC run little smoother than GTA3.

32mb is the basic you need in order for the game to run... :?

But i have some mods installed on it....
Could that be the reason its so slow?
Or would it work better with a new videocard?
I need to find that patch.............

A G-force 4 MX 400 is ok. to run GTA3 at 1024x768x32.
However, if you are going to buy a new card, buy something a little mre powerfull, for the future.
