Some very nicely composed images here. In particular..

Image
A little too much sky (remember the thirds rule!), but otherwise a compelling vista, strangely alien. A little cropping will fix the composition easily.

Image
Excellent use of monotone, well exposed in very difficult conditions.

Image
Very professional. Could easily be part of an ad campaign. Perhaps a little more brightness and contrast to bring out the vehicle more.

Well I don't really do much photography but I saw this outside and I thought I could take a picture of it and use it for something but tell me what you guys think of it. Sorry about the size, DeviantArt resized my picture to that small size for some reason.

Like I said, I don't do much photography, so I wouldn't know how to set shutter time and anyways my camera can't do that. It's just a 3 year old digital camera.

Weedman: Nice one! Commented @ devart.

Ryu: I love your sense of composition. Excellent work with the Petronas Towers, the extreme vertical crop gives a striking impact.

Definitely. All that negative space does nothing for the picture. Crop out a good deal of it (leave some, for interest) and bring the focus onto the real subject - that glorious sunset.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked them. :)

A great many of my shots were taken outside Australia. The coconut/bananas/bamboo triptych was shot on Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Mm, I agree. All it needs is a single, lone figure, right at the end of the path. Powerful image.

My fav is the Eclipse in the city look because it really shows the type of place where I would want to live. I love city lights and living in cities late at night. And this is coming from the kid in farmland! :P I'ver been fond of photography for a few months now, my mom got mad of me using the camera on her cell phone for stuff so now I've got a brand new digital camera from christmas! I have to chang the batteries daliy because I use it so much, I also had to get a hard drive upgrade! lol
I manily like to take pics of the things I like most and are most proud of... Like my Computer!
