Remove Wordings in Pictures

Hey guys.. Been a long time.. :roll:

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could teach me how to remove wordings on a picture using photoshop.. :P

If I clone 1 part of the pic to be stamped on the wordings, then the pic's 'originality' will look awkward, rite..?

then select another similar part, copy + paste, free transform

What I do makes the image look a lot better and doesn't screw up the picture like the clone stamp can at times.

What you need:
polygonal mask tool
eyedropper tool
brush tool
smudge tool

Mask a section around the words and make sure that you use the eyedropper to select the color behind the words. Use the brush tool to fill it up. Deselect and use the smudge tool to even out the edges to make it blend in with the background.

Repeat. :)

But it really depends on the users taste on what to do. There are many possibilities for how to remove parts you don't want in an image.

It truly depends on how thick the text is and what technique is used to get a realistic result.

On top of that, the original size of the image you are working with.

Thx, guys.. Well, the pic didn't turn out good but I think it's still "acceptable" :roll: ... :lol:

Anyway, mind to recommend any good sites to spice up my photoshop skills..?
Still a newb in chopping photos... :lol:
