The vacuum of which this long-standing competition has created in its absence is heartbreaking.

So, 'twas up to me to rejuvinate the past glory that this challenge once had, and a new competition is born!

There will be a hidden deadline, only known to me, so take the time to create a sig that you believe will make the most laugh (as long as it's under 50 kB) and once the stars have aligned, I will close the competition for the ritualistic voting.

Well, as you can see, I created this thread months ago to try to get the old habit back on the forums, but the lack of interest meant that no one really looked at it. I suppose if you can convince more people to enter the competition, we can continue.
