well, i do have to agree, you do make nice sigs. i was thinking though, your current sig, maybe you should have left off the white part and just cut around the car....that would look really cool.

yeh

that was a little error, i made a drop shadow to make it look more like the car was leaping out of the picture, but when i saved it in gif, the white bits just came in and ruined the edges. maybe if i left out the animation i would be able to save it in high detail without the huge size.

my final submission, just a diff car and color background

the lights that move across the text are just two other gradient layers that move across the actual text layer. i used photoshop to link the layers and then set up the frames in imageready to move across and back the text. its a bit lengthy to explain it all here.

its a perhaps a lot easier to do that animation in flash in fact you'll probably do it with your eys closed. All you need to do is a simple gradient mask over the text, and your done...

Yep, you can export animated Gif with flash, well flash MX anyway, but it doesn't come out in the best quality, I think I might try out Fireworks or somat....

you can also make gif's in adobe image ready (it's in your photoshop directory)
