The first is the original, but I can't stand how Photoshop takes the "raw" photo, (meaning what the OS would actually see, without color management) versus what the monitor shows afterwards, and #2 was my attempt at getting some of the lost detail back. =/

You do know that you can adjust color management settings? It's a biznitch but it helps HEAPS in the long run.

If you save for web and don't embed colour profiles, it should show up the way you see it in Photoshop.

Nope, that's actually the way it was saved. When I tried the opposite it didn't help, either.

The old image is probably stuck in your cache, Carcrazy, assuming you uploaded two versions using the same file name. Try refreshing the page and see if still shows the same image.
