I actually don't know, but I want to buy GT5 now. It was so much fun and I found out I can use my Logitech MOMO wheel with it, too. :D

I was surfing youtube, looking at YLoD (Yellow Line of Death) videos, came across this; for some reason.

"Interesting stuff you can do to your PS3"

Lol, I never would have thought Sony would be smart enough to throw in an Auto-cleaning function.

Lucky I was capped when watching that video and only glimpsed a few seconds of that Rick Roll....

Revival of a topic? No, not really. I just wanted to put this out there.

Besides how it looks, they've dropped the price to US$299. That, my dear Stereo, is a godsend.

I seriously have to consider one before the year ends, now.

That price is pretty awesome considering what you get... and hell, I don't even have a Blu-Ray player in the house. =/

Firmware 3.0 is pretty sexy, but not really worthy of being labeled as the third generation of firmwares. (I hope you see what I mean :D)

The theme is sexy, though. ;D

Still rocking with the originally released 60GB PlayStation 3 myself, never had a problem with it. Only difference that mine will have soon is the inclusion of a Western Digital Scorpio 500G 7200RPM. 8)

Oh and I did myself a favour of binning the old Xbox 360 I had, it went RROD after the warranty expired, go figure...

I finally bought a PS3 recently.
Been planning on buying one since it first came out to play GT5... but GT5 never came so I didn't need to hurry.
I'm kinda cheap though, so I bought one second hand :P.
It is a slim model though (250gb), so it's not an old piece of crap.

I only have Wipeout HD + Fury atm and it's been fun.
lol wut

Same here, still got my BC 60GB console. I did break the laser on mine though (I didn't realise it was running and it was on the pause menu of GT5:P for a few days...) but it was replaced under extended warranty because it was an original console.

My 360 hasn't got a RRoD yet though, so I still got that.

Because I honestly can't think of anything else post-worthy on the forum besides my build thread:

It's ironic I made this thread, then bought an Xbox.
Yay for being broke!

...but, just so I'm not a complete a-hole, here's some on-topic content.
