What software?

What software should I use to edit pictures of cars to change backgrounds, effects, etc.?

Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, GIMP, to name a few.

It's pretty hard to cut a car out of it's background.
You just can't know if a pixel belongs to the car or to the background, they're shared and their colour is a mix of the car and of the background.
Any hints?

use polygonal lasso tool... that should help u in the noob time... later if u master masking and paths u can cut the car out with 100% accuracy
