Just one more thing needs testing, the completion of duels. That's why I want you all to vote on this duel:

Duels will be available for all four games in the showroom, but limited to the Classic section only. I'd also like to see it limited for Carbon such that you can only duel within the same car class - tuner vs tuner, muscle vs muscle etc, but not mixed.
*Goes off to convince Bojan that this is a great idea*
Edit: This could even be taken a step further where you can only duel the same model car. At this point, it really does come down to which car looks the best, rather than a contest of classes, makes or models. Give us your thoughts on this please.

I like how you added the duels to the showroom instead of creating a seperate page all together for it. I do like that you added a minumum amount of votes needed to end the duel and also minimum amount of time, but I think it needs to be longer than 1 day (would it be possible to have a minimum amount of votes needed in the first 24 hours be fifteen votes and ten votes minimum after 48 hours?).
I do think that making it so you can only challange the same car class IS A MUST (face it, you can't duel a muscle car and a tuner and expect people to vote fairly; tuners will vote for the tuner even if it's not better and the muscle people will vote for the muscle car even if it is ugly too).
Being able to only duel the same type of car would make sure the duels stay fair on all grounds, but I think going this far needs to be decided by all of NFS Unlimited instead of just a few peoples' voices (like mine) who agree with what the staff thinks. Whatever happens though, dueling only in the same car class is a must any way you look at it.

Duels are now public and are only available inside one car type. eg only RX8-RX8 duels are possible.
The 24h minimum and 10 votes overall minimum can change when enough duels are active. It will all depend on how it will perform.
You can start a duel directly here:

(the link is available on the classic categories pages right next to "Active duels" and "Finished duels" or on your profile page under "Edit details")

Which means the duel will end when it has more than 10 votes and when it's been running for longer than 24 hours.Bojan wrote:Send out a challenge / accept it to have a duel running. Like it was before, except no comments. Also all duels will remain active untill a minimum amount of votes have been reached. Right now 10 votes and 1 day runtime is a minimum.
