Since we have in our profile: latests rides, our fav rides and our top rated rides, my sugestion is:
What do you think about having our fav rides from our garages so that we can give some projection to some old rides of ours that ppl wont check cause they're long gone in our large numbered garages (sorry bout my english but i think you get the point)

like our personal selection of cars.

What do you think?

I think I do.

The ability to pick 3 PERSONAL FAVORITES from ones own rides that would show on the profile front page, regardless of their reputation or how long ago they were uploaded.

This feature probably will be implemented sooner or later, but unfortunatly something new is in the works and it's been given a higher priority than this.

Ok if it's so big deal why dont just create a new garage, name it "My best cars or my favorite cars" and put there all your rides.

No, he means why don't YOU make a new garage in your profile to hold your favourite cars. No need for NFSUnlimited to do anything special.
