I'll get to the point

how do u convert bmp images to jpg , my old comp did it automatically, im a bit noob at computers :D

Use GIMP and you'll get a few other features too.

MSPaint can save JPGs, although the quality is horrible.

Eh scratch that,

The picture is 147kb but its not accepting it, also
its in jpeg form but its not accepting it either

Start editing your posts using the pretty Image button.

GIMP will allow you to change the compression on JPEG images. I've found that an ingame screenshot larger than 1024x768 usually exceeds the showroom's size limit. So I take screenshots at 1280x960 and scale them down, thus resulting in higher quality shots.

Meh. I don't know the names of all these various tools, I just use my trusty Photoshop + PaintShop combo.

P.S I managed to convert the images from bmp > jpg using paintshop pro 7 :)
