Well, we're going with Paco's idea for having the latest winner design the demo car and the rules. I've pmed viper about it and should get a reply soon as to how much involvement he want/ If need be, I'll sort it myself.

However, suggestions are always welcome Stig!! Fire away!! :D
UrQuattro wrote:GMT as a guide. like 10pm
Yep, I need ppl to let me know around what time of day is good to post the rules for the next comp. Definitely let's all stick to GMT with this, otherwise it could get a little confusing!!

So UrQ - is 10pm GMT good for you, or is that just an example?

Being in America it really throws me off :) I'm EST. So isn't that like GMT -5? I'm not really sure :(

GMT -6....
Still don't know why countries always want to use a other system...

Im my maritime days we learned GMT as a standard so everybody know where they are in time... btu the Yanks wanted to use their own name... only more calulating

No Offence BTW

I'm not Yank. Don't sterotype me! Yank's or Yankees are what people call the northerners. States of Virginia and up. I live in North Carolina, THE SOUTH :D

BUT! I was born/raised in upstate new york. Moved to NC when I was 9, and I'm 18 now. So I guess this year I'm half-half, but when I turn 19 I'll be more southern than northern? hmm tricky :d

Stig, the reason for this is that the US is a big country and they have multiple time zones crossing it, just like Australia. There has to be some way of telling others within the country which timezone you're using. It's a whole lot simpler to say 'east coast time' - EST than it is to say GMT-6.

So now that's straight - when is a good time to post the rules??

Well any time that would match up in all countries to being afternoon-evening. 3-4pm(My time) and after? Or maybe just do Noon(my time). Guess that would be around dinner time where you guys are at.

Oh yeah, America has 3 time zones. East Coast, Central, and Western times. Central is like an hour behind us, and western is 3 hrs. Tis major crazy!

Aussie has more than that - at least four. There's three actual timezones crossing the country, but then some states do the daylight savings thing and some don't. At certain times through the year, I can call Adelaide in the central timezone and get a 'good afternoon' greeting, and then call Brisbane on the east coast and get a 'good morning'!! Normally, that should be the other way round cuz it's usually earlier in the east!! Wacky...

about the Timezones m8... (a quick story then) my first study was for Maritime Officer and after 2 years when I was 20 I went on practical for half a year... to the US and back... and lot more but.....
I quit the study because I can't take the sea sickness... Ill be sick every trip....
After that I started as Car salesadvisor(including study) but that was soo damn boring I quit after a year...
So from that point on I wanted to become a Driving insturctor and here I am... :D

long story.... sorry for oftopic again

All I know is two things:

1- There's too many stinkin timezones and I'm just gonna keep myself in this one and talk to ya'll in that one

2- We are so far off topic it's not even funny..

SO HOW BOUT DEM RICERS!

Looks like Sp3aK is cruising at the bottom again, IMOO gt3 has the best ricer car.....

Supra man, you've been warned before by the mod. This looks like advertising, and you can't do that more than once. Just stay on topic please. This thread is for discussion of Ricer Challenge.
