Has anyone noticed that a guy named JEMC or something like that is giving everyone 3s and 1s? and its not only in RC. Hes doing that to a lot of cars

So what do you think of the competition? Do you get the feeling that one week is too long for it? I mean you want more time to get more votes... but since the winner is calculated first on entrant votes, the picture is clear more or less by day 3 or so... I don't know, just was thinking about that.

I think a week is a fine amount of time. For me being on spring break the time has gone by super fast. I guess it's because I'm not paying as much attention to everything like I do at school but it's crazy how the garage for the hatchback challenge is already half full.

Yeh I agree that a week does seem a little long at times, but given the fact that most of us work on a seven day rotation, this is the best frequency for stopping and starting comps. I can post the new comp ruls on Friday/Saturday, giving people their leisure time to create and submit cars, plus I can take plently of time to gather the entrants and generally tend to the new comp.

the idea of starting/stopping comps on Wed/Thu is to ensure there's always a comp running in the showroom, while offsetting the work required in handling that with the work involved posting rules and demo cars later in the week.

What I might consider doing tho, is doing it all on the weekend. Post rules Saturday, gather entrants etc and open the comp as soon as the garage is full. This would make it kinda random exactly when the comp would open for voting. Let that comp run until Friday night, then tally the votes, post the final placings, then on Saturday post the rules and demo for the next comp.

This would shorten the comps up, but would also increase the number of entrant votes missed. However, with the new scoring system (where you vote a proxy 10 if you don't vote a car), this is not so much of a problem...

and on a little side note........@jemc, if you vote 1's on cars........you might not make so many enemies if you left a comment as to why you voted a 1. being in a competition and voting alot of other entrants low can only have one purpose as far as i'm concerned.

Eh, don't worry about it Syk - of course the Supras are gonna win that, cuz they come stock with better stats. It was just a little fun thing on the side and the better cars were always gonna win it...
