Cars usually take about half a day to a max of 24 hours to be put in the showroom. You do not get notified if your car is rejected, as there is just too many submissions that do not meet the rules and informing all on why their car was rejected would take too long.

If you're searching for your car it's available here: http://www.nfsunlimited.net/index.php?g ... iew&id=907

I have a quiestion to the admin. When I want to upload a car into the showroom, but I have 10 already, the 11th will replace the lowest ranked car or something? Or it simply won't post?
I posted some crappy car, and want to replace it with a better one. What's the deal with the extra upload? Does it work? Thank you very much.

It simpy won't post, unless you put the url of the one you want to replace in the description field.

So in the description I should just paste the link to the image itself or to the page that has voting on it?
And shoulf it be just the address, or I need to put URL brackets around it?

Put the url to the image or to the page, doesn't matter, as long as it's visible which car you want to update. And just the url: with or without http.

And if you want a new description, also put it in the field.

No, you don't get notified. You can see all the cars you've uploaded by clicking the All cars by this author link when you're viewing one of your cars. It's above the screenshot.

I came in here asking how to replace a car in my full garage, but pacdog's asked, and bobyx has answered. Thx guys! :D

Actually I had a suggestion regarding full garages that might be worth considering...

Allow a logged in user to remove car entries from his garage with the addition of a 'remove car' link on the view car page. This gives users the best control over what stays and what goes when their garage reaches the ten car limit.

Further to this, the stats for a deleted car should be kept, just remove the image to conserve space.

Comments?

According to bobyx they can't delete cars that are uploaded. perhaps this cuts down on micromanagement a lot, as well as the user votes don't get lost (like it's not fair to them).

Lots of things ppl suggested would be possible if showroom was closed to registered users only. It's open to everyone though and the result of that is a huge amount of cars in the showroom.

The garage thing is a good idea though!

Oh and the limit will probably be raised to 15 cars per user.

I like the sound of a raised garage limit, bobyx. What'll it take to convince you it's a great idea? I got some great cars waiting in the wings... 8)

the next screen that comes up after you put in the photo (garage) if you look at slightly above the top two cars it shows a text that tells you if the file was accepted or not. most of the time when the file is accepted, it should take 30-100 minutes for the file to show in your garage.

Ok, let me get this straight. People actually go through severel pages of topics, just so they can reply to something that's over a year old. WTF!?

People actuallly do forget that stuffs. They just scroll back, read a post, never looked back at the dates of the replies, and then they replied to a post which has a time margin of, sometimes, 2 years...
