We dont have one yet, so I thot we could vote for it.
There is already two similar threads, but i was hoping for some actual
results from this one. Pick the car, and then i'll photochop it!

I chose the Silvia S15...but mostly,we could do with a car that represents all styles of racing in the org,and any of them on the poll does the job...so its whatever the people wants :P

I chose the Z.

BECAUSE YOU CAN USE IT FOR WANGAN! (sorta like speedchallenge in the game)

Oh, and you can't drift an evo unless you get rid of the AWD.

are they calling it wangan? cuz the wangan is a specific freeway, not a race type.
and can u make an evo an FR in the game? or is it only AWD?

the S15 and Z33 are good all rounders. The right tuning can make em good for any grip or drift event. But I'll take the S15, since I have been a fan of the car since it's introduction, and I love its lineage  .

EVO FTW!!!! You guys better start voting Evo. Best all round car, great accel, great top speed, more traction than a RWD. Where can you go wrong? Plus, it's an Evo, need I say more?

I've never seen a Silvia on the dirt, or keeping up to an Evo.

Silvia S15:
Power: 184kW
Torque: 275 N-m
Weight: 1,250kg
0-97 km/h: 5.6sec
0-161 km/h: 14.2sec
Top Speed: 260.1 km/h

Breaking Distance:
97 km/h to 0: 37.32m
161 km/h to 0: 102.57m

Leteral g's
97 km/h: 0.93
193km/h: 0.90

Evolution IX GT(One in the game is the BETTER version, the MR):
Power: 239kW
Torque: 415 N-m
Weight: 1,390kg
0-97 km/h: 5.1sec
0-161km/h: 12.5sec
Top Speed: 258.8km/h

Breaking Distance:
97km/h to 0: 36.83m
161 km/h to 0: 100.28m
Lateral g's
97km/h: 0.95
193km/h: 0.92

Lower level Evolution factory settings in a simulation game > S15.
Now in NFS S15 will be a lower level car to the Evolution, because the Evolution is respected for more than OMG Nissan's only form of drift car series.
Want a real car, get the Evo. Want a show car, get a S15.

haha, ok, well since my comment was not taken for the humour - that I tried to present... I do agree with you that the Evo is a great car (Excluding the lineage from the Evo VII to the Evo IX). Obviously a comparison between a (at least) 4 year old car with the Evo IX, as completely stock, road going cars (not track) - would show that the evo IX might outperform... If a Silvia, and a Evo IX, were both modified to some extent, perhaps even to the maximum that the cars are capable of, then it will be interesting. But I have no clue who the victor will be, in that case. Keeping in mind that the comparo is on tarmac. Oh yeah, there have been silvias that manage to have a RB26DETT in the engine bay - with better weight distribution than when it was stock with the SR20 engine. Hmmmm...

Both cars were never in the same racing series - so to compare them in their respective race trims (regulated by their respective racing leagues/organizations/bodies), would be rather moot.

Now, in terms of gaming - still gotto see what happens in Pro Street. But hey, if my skill is equal to that of your own, perhaps, in the near future, we should settle this in a couple of races?

Nissan's S-Chassis and Drifting? Cool, I should try it with my S14 when it gets out of the repair shop. Silvias are AMAZING cars - They were great in the GT300...

Oh yeah, this URL might be of interest to you:

http://www.sg-motorsport.com/racing.html

That site pertains to a garage that is about 10-20 minutes drive from me. I do hope you enjoy the read. If you need more proof/info - Google can probably be of some assistance ;)

P.S. A real car is any car - as long as the driver can make the most of that car.

P.P.S. The points surrounding the Silvia/200SX/240SX/180SX - being that they are all different cars - is true to some extent. There was a coupe, a hatch, and a cabriolet body style. Silvias = Coupes and Cabriolets. And, With focus on the coupes and cabriolets, the bigger difference was the engines... Hence the different names for the same chassis. And that difference can be dealt with - via an engine hoist and some wench time (As well as a couple of buddies that know what they are doing)

P.P.P.S. No, the Sivlia is not the the car to end all, be all.. NO car can ever really be that. Depends on what the driver is looking for. The silvia is MY car of choice. Thus I will lean towards having the react team car - being a S15 Silvia. Other folks will probably be the same - but it might be for different cars.

P.P.P.P.S. You killed the joke :(

dude....that is so untrue. sure it is your opinion, but dont go bashing another car.
u never see a silvia on dirt, because it isnt meant for that. would you drift a top
fuel dragster? probably not. besides, comparing the two cars is an apples and oranges comparison. one is FR the other is AWD. what i'm saying is dont be bashing other cars, just cuz ur a fanboy of the EVO. the EVO doesnt "pwn all". u probably dont even own one, so why does it matter. all i asked for was what car
should be the team car. "why" wasnt mentioned. numbers from a brochure or
website dont help either. so back off, and cool down man.

That, my friend, is the truest thing on motorsport... I see people bashing/adoring cars (btw, I dont want to offend you lan.evo, but fanboys are fanboys :P) without even having consistent arguments... When you have the highest possible driving skill, THEN you can say "that car is crap/the best car ever made"

Personally I like almost all performance cars... muscles/tuners/exotics/sleepers... I find something good on all of them, and all of them are a joy to drive (hell, even if muscles suck at handling -that not being completely true, there are aftermarket suspensions...-,every time I hear a muscle coming I drool with the sound like many others...)

And like I said before, I dont want to offend you lan.evo, it's just that respecting the habilities of other cars, even if you dont like them, will make you happier  hehe

Alright..
to bring this to a different conversation rrather than a discussion about only s15's and evos...
what i was thinking for a react team car is.. well, more than one car.
we choose a car for each race mode.
ex.

Drift - S15.. or to make all you fanboy's of evos out there happy.. Evos.
Drag - Crovette stingray. (BTW in my opinion, you use a muscle car for drag, considering they have the raw power but not the handling.)
Grip - i really dont know. something euro, like an M3 or something.
Speed - something fast out of the box, but as well you can beat on without feeling bad.

P.S i voted s15.

Istn it lil stupid to compare those two cars. Apart from that both are from japan and are relatively fast nothing else is the same.

As for re modes...

Drag - Muscle cars or buggati veyron :D
Drift - S15 all the way
Grip - Lotus Exige S
Speed Challenge - exotics, or again Veyron

Maybe, but here we are voting for a car so our good friend wasabi can photoshop a pic of it with out team's colours :D (besides,no one voted for that S15... EA just used it as an "exclusive pics" car for react, nothing more hehe)

and besides this whole Team thing is real. Its actually better if we work together on our Site's own Team car and not use the storyline's.

True... By the looks of the poll, looks like it's gonna be the S15 anyways. :P

hey all
so, i guess the car will be a silvia. i probably will close the polls, and start on the
car. sorry it has been a while, but i have had a lot of tests in school lately.
I was thinking of doing a clean car, white being the main color.
I am currently having trouble finding a good hi-res pic of a silvia, so if you
find any, plz send it to me. any pic will do, as long as it isnt a bright pic.
thanks alot!
