EA PRESENTS LEGO NEED FOR SPEED
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - April 1, 2008 - Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) announced today that the blockbuster Need for Speedâ„¢ franchise is introducing a new version that drives the series in a new direction. Legoâ„¢ Need for Speedâ„¢ is a ground-breaking Need for Speed experience where thousands of gamers of all age will be able to interact online in a huge open world environment. The game is being developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, B.C., and is slated to ship this fall.
"Lego Need for Speed ProStreet will be the first true massive multiplayer online racing experience," said Executive Producer, Larry LaPierre. "We have teamed up with Lego to bring you a game that will be loved by everyone. Our ground breaking performance matching system will automatically adjust car properties making it possible for our kids to compete with grandparents."
Lego Need for Speed boasts with the largest amount of tracks in any Need for Speed game up to date with more than 1000 miles of driving surfaces. Additionally a brand new technology called CarCreatorâ„¢ will allow you to create your car from grounds up from a huge set of different Lego Block parts. The blocks you use and the design you create will have an impact on how your car performs on the road and how well it withstands crashes. Designing a light sportscar with responsive steering and fast acceleration or a durable SUV will be completely up to you. Lego Need for Speed is the ultimate formula for a family racing game with creative elements of car design.

GOOD ONE MAN, You got me. I read this and the only word that I would use is "WTF." Lego NFS. That would be the BIGGEST Mistake from EA, just like Carbon and Pro Street. But I admit it, you got me. Hopefully the REAL news about Next NFS Title will start to show up soon. Can wait!

lol. Nice one. To be honest, Lego IS coming out with an MMOG at some point, but it's not even going to be made by EA as far as I know.
