OK something more logical for a 1st car: 206.
It's nicely modded. It's for sale, but the dude never answers the phone. So I dont know the price yet.
Year 2002. 60,000km.
Accesoires:
-CF smooth body kit
- 5-spokes rims
- Bridgestone tires
- Quad muffler tip
- Custom sidemirrors
- Brembo brakes
The best thing is: Stock spoiler, stock rearlights I hate chromed rearlights, and the 206 doesnt need a wing.
The dude lives in my neighboorhood (advantage!)
What would be a good price??? In Spain, a stock Pug 206 costs 10,600€ (cheapest version). I think he spent around 5,000€ in the accesoires. But car is 3 years old and it's wrecked in the rear part!!
Whatever, I really love this 206. It only needs Sparco seats and new gauges hehe.
Thanks for your comments ^_^

Paintjob looks kinda weird.. It isn't shiny. D: 3 years is nothing, and 60.000 km too. Although I don't really know how much a French car could do. Brakes are useless unless you go to a circuit to do some racing. 4 mufflers tips.. Looks good, but not under a Pug.
If you are going to buy it, ask the guy to fix the damage. Check the engine yourself for oil leakage.
And I wouldn't recommend black in such a warm country. Black absorbs and white reflects.. What are the other options? Does it have airco, electric windows?

flat paint job, you mean?
here in the u.s. we call shinless paint jobs flat.. atleast me n my dad do.
nice peugeot though, never sell those kind of cars over here, shame... wouldn't mind a 306 myself. been looking for a topic like this, myself, to see what everyone else is interested in. i myself am looking at a 1981 Cehvrolet Camaro Z28 similar to this:

btw that paintjob is absolutely not stock the flat(with metallic dots) looks weird (if not simply unprofessional!)
btw on a modded car years and milage says NOTHING anymore.. simply cause most people that use a a piece of chickenfence as grill! and 4 exhausts people can ruin a car withing 60.000 Km and experience tells me that this is a car (visual upgrades) that has a high risk of being trashed!
if you look at the front bumper he clearly doesn't know where the front of his car begins cause he got some nasty scratches there cause he hit the curb while parking. and the rear bumper??
the most likely reason that he selles it is that he doesn't get anywhere close to what he wants for his car at the dealer , cause if a dealer has to pay for a modded car they often pay you less for it or nothing more then stock. cause visual upgrade have no extra value on a car if you want to resell it..
when I worked for Toyota I often did pay (give them a price) for a visual modded car cause they almost always where a risk to sell (alot of people don't want modded car) and there is a big risk that they are trashed, wich happens more often then you think... they look good from the inside and out (bodykit, interior styling.. etc) but the engine is often in bad shape
ofcouse this doesn't go for all cars but you can see soon enough if it is done by a pro or by the average ricer...
my suggestion stay away from it... (IMO it is even BUTTUGLY)

mate I got 3 words for you:
Don't do it!
you won't even make the 2 or 3 years... maybe you reach 2/3 year...
my advice get a normal 206 that still is stock, by the looks of it you don't even know what engine type it is... if it can be a 1.4 a 1.6 a 2.0 or even a lazy 1.1... the guy shaved everything of the car... so you don't know!
so try to look for a 1.6 or a 2.0 (price can be alot higher then a 1.6) and get a Gentry edition they got everything you need. or a XS they are abit more basic but still decent
but he thats just me...
the 206 petrol versions are not the most reliable cars in the world (not by far actually) and if you don't treat them right the costs will be skyrocketing!

get a 350z, IMO the '05 eclipses look like a girls car. but its up too you. 350's are way better looking, and its a Nissan, (im pro nissan btw lol) if u want some seroius power and can afford to, do the Power Enterprises TT kit. and some other odds and ends of the turbo setup. The Power Enterprises kit comes with everything you need i think. If you want it expect to pay somewhere up towards $ 7 or 8K, but also expect 400 whp. That kit is also capible of 600 whp i think. My favorite thing about it is it comes with IHI Ball Bearing Turbos which are the same brand turbos used in Ferrari F40 and some F1 cars. Plus ARC FMIC is one of the best FMIC's there is. Hands down my favorite bolt-on kit for the 350. Others should agree.WhereIsTheNsx wrote:alright i'm about to sell my 97 prelude, and get a 05 eclipse, but they haave almost no power, is there a way to boost th hp a couple hundred horses or should i stick with my original plan and get a 350 ??? i just like the style of the eclipse btw, not buying it to race, but would like to cruise on the highway.
