two itty bitty problems

1st

i tried to unlock the castrol ford gt by writing castrol in the "click to continue screen".the confirmation message came but i cant find the car anywhere,i've looked in the my cars menu,the car lot and even tried to find a possible "bonus cars" menu that could eventualy appear...

so,where is the car afterall??

2nd

i've started a new game a while ago in order to reach 100% from the begining instead of ending it at 80% and make the rest afterwards...but this isn't the problem
i'm trying to get to JV but there's a curcuit that seems unbeatable to me( Waterfront)

,this circuit has 4 laps and we can go half way through the prison...but i simply cant beat this track...the AI cars always end up 2km in front of me(a bit less than 1.5miles)...is there any suggestions you guys can give me?

also happened to me. I use the speedbreaker when JV is trying to pass me, i usually block him or push him out of the road with S.B (speedbreaker).

Yes, that race is a pain in the ass. You just have to race it again, and again...
