Great additions Tunerfreak 8)

Well, it's my last official working day at school tomorrow... ever, SO now that I will have no school, concerts, and travelling in the way, I can probably get started on my new sketch. :P

@Bogan: Ahh, ye old smudge marks. Buy some french curves... they were incredibly handy during my Aston and Nissan drawings. :P

I have one of them. Good tools if you the right ones. I still need to buy a set of them though because the one my dad bought me has way too many curves and I don't use it all. I've only used it once and that was when I got it.

Yeh I thought about buying one of those flexible curves when I was in an art shop the other day . . . but then I thought, THAT'S CHEATING! :P

Anyway great work Tunerfreak. And hurry up Jim, we're all waiting for ya :)

It's very... boxy. :| Though it's probably better than what I could do. I'm only good at profile views.

Hooah I got my entry in just in time. And try not to ask what the straight and ziggy lines are under the car because....frankly......I have no clue why I put them in there or what function they serve. Probably just thought it'd look cool. 8)

Mediums used
  • Sketchpad of course
  • Standard drawing pencil
  • Sharpie and Crayola coloring pens
  • Crayola coloring pencils

Uhhh this is a competition. You have to draw your own car. Nobody's going to draw an entry for you. Hence the reason this is called Drawing/Painting Competition #1 - Your Favorite Car.

Btw shouldn't we be starting the poll for this now? It's already 6 days past the deadline.

Nice job guys :)

I should hopefully have my background finished soon, its coming along nicely now.

Say set the new date to around the 16th?
We will see how close we stay to that date

yeh that was one of the things ive fixed, because originally the car was totally different (thats why in some places u can see bits that i couldnt erase
completely). i worked on it for about an hour last night, here it is now. ill post my final entry later tonight.

Image

ive still got to finish the shading, background, spoiler, hood and the front windshield. (the main things)
