should they return or not? i know that checkpoint races are very similar, but i liked the tollbooth concept better from most wanted, and i want to see what you guys think.

Shouldn't the poll options be:
Ya, they were better and fun to smash
no, i like checkpoint
dont care

Anyways, I agree with all the comments above. Tollbooths were more fun, and they gave a more realistic approach to street racing (which Carbon significantly detracted from. I mean, a Koenigsegg in a street race?).

Hmmm. Maybe in the next NFS, what there should be is "markers" for the race, would make sense that they'd use something "there" to mark the checkpoints. If it's a tollroad, then tollbooths. Otherwise, things such as lampposts, overhead signs, or even certain markings might be "considered" the marker. Perhaps they'd be "highlighted" to inform the driver that "yep, this is the checkpoint"...but not have the flares.

Yes, I liked how the Tollbooth races were set up, and if they bring it back I hope the booths look a lot better. :)
Seems like this website is a ghost town. No longer worth a visit or anyone's time.

This poll totally crecks me up (no offence :P):

1. Tollbooth races = Checkpoint races

2. In case we consider they are different things, poll options are illogical --> there is no way to answer "I like better checkpoints".

Obviously everybody is picking the 1st option.
Still rolling my eyes

Doesn't matter much to me, but the toolbooths were indeed a bit more realistic. Plus they offered some minor tactical advantages in a tight race (either you got clean through or smashed right through it....and fell behind)

As I say, maybe instead of checkpoints, have definite markers...that can be tollbooths on major highways, and all other kinds of things everywhere else. A Canyon Checkpoint, for example, may use the entrances to tunnels and bridges.

as if MW wasn't detracted from street racing... what you said about the koenigsegg also aplies to the gallardo, the slr,the carrera gt and so on which were in MW...

The poll kinda weird.... if Tollbooth is better than checkpoint... the answer is "Ya".. if Checkpoint is better, the answer should be "NO" Why got such word "No,I hate checkpoint"

ya tollbooths can come back but they should be like an alternate to regular checkpoint races. The amount of tollbooth races in most wanted was insane. They need to cut the amount down or either split tollbooth and regular checkpoint 50/50
