Hey I'm new to the whole Need For Speed editing you screenshots , but I was looking for any good/okay editing programs that are for free. Im not asking for anything great just something to get started with. :roll:

Yeah, Paint.NET's pretty nifty and not overwhelmingly complicated.
(BTW, that was me that made that topic. ;) )

PS (normally) isnt free :wink:
it is one of the best progs you can get though, but yeah.. may be a bit hard when you are just starting

if your wanting a vey good program to start off with, you should def. go with gimp, it is a very good jumping point to go to PS. 8)

Allrighty.. I've started with Gimp 2.2.13
Lets see here. I'm trying to edit a picture of a car but cutting and pasting and how do I set it to transparent so that the white would show but will will show is whats behind it? :?:

and when you fairly good with gimp you can switch over to photoshop cs2, and by the way a year licence to it is only 20 dollars.
