Crashday

Crash-Day

I picked this game up in Best Buy while I was at the beach, and I have to say... it is one of the best games I've ever gotten... especialy for only $20! Does anyone else here have it? If not then you really need to get a copy, especially if you like explosions (reminds me of picture wars  ) or just want to cause mayhem by blowing things up with machine guns or missile launchers. It has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, (In car games) and runs great on low-end systems (tried it on my brothers' laptop,) and even better on a mid-high range system! The online mode... well... there basicly is no online mode, no one ever goes on it... because few people have the game because it's not widely distributed as some games, but if it's anything like the carrer mode it's awesome!!! Stunt tracks, races, bomb races (drive below a certain speed an BOOM!,and all out hell breaks loose in Crash Mode, do whatever is nessesary to take down your oponents!

I got my copy in Best Buy, not sure what other stores it's in though. But this really is a great game!!!

And yes, the game's spelling is better than mine!

I saw it in my local game store for £9.99, assumed it was a cheap rip-off of burn out and I didn't buy it. Maybe I should re-concider?

This game is quite fun. I played it for about a day or two, but then I lost interest in racing games so I started playing CSS again. It's more like Flatout with guns than Burnout.

There's already a Crashday topic but it died after 8 posts a year ago.
So I might as well leave this open.
But Carcrazy, please, do use the search option.

Yup, I bought Crashday - as was said above, it was fun for about 5 minutes, then I just found it boring.

Haven't played it since I got Carbon and TDU - and probably won't play it again.

Well, as I can see...no licensed cars? I mean there's obviously a Skyline and a Lamborghini Murcielago, but I can't see either logos or manufacturer decal..so fictional cars very very similiar to those cars ?
That was my question :D

Yeah, pretty much. A lot of real life cars are there, but they're named differently.

I've had Crashday for almost a year now, and love it. Of course, when it comes to racing, it doesn't compare to the NFS games (handling's all screwy), but at least in Crashday I get to blow up cars and shoot missiles and bullets at them.

You should check out the official forums for a bunch of downloadable cars and other stuff.
