Especially since this is favourite CARS, not favourite RIMS. I agree, you've proved me wrong, but can we PLEASE get back on topic.

@ steelsnake: Nice S2, but ugly roofscoop. I didn't know that about the CSL rims, but the type of rim is similar to most BBS rims, which was sort of the point I was getting at.

Normally, I'd agree with you, but if it's functional that's a whole other story. If it does something, that almost always makes it look nice, IMO. :)

In fact, the roofscoop is vital. It feeds air to the radiator and oil cooler, which are both situated in the boot as to allow for more space for the intercooler pipework out front,

That's why everytime I customize a car in Underground 2, I always use a Roof Scoop.

Bleh, I almost never use the roof scoops in the game; they're too big.

But the roofscoop doesn't decrease the aerodynamics of the car?

Yes, but when they're keeping your oil temperature at sane levels ad stopping your engine coolant cooking off, it doesn't really matter.

but roof scoops are not that much of a must . . . you can add other stuff . . my ride has extra air intake beside the head lights . . . works same as roofscoops IMO . . this also does not disturb the a-dynamics

In the case of the S2 in question, the radiator and oil cooler/pump are in the boot as to make space for a drysump and larger intercooler. That's why it needs the roof scoop. How can an intake by the headlights, which feeds into the engine bay, do the same as one that's on the roof, which doesn't (unless it's a rear-engine'd car) :?

Of course it does. Just not enough to make a big enough difference to notice.

My favorite car?
More like the fastest car in NFSU2
The fastest car in NFSU2 is the pontiac GTO and that is my fav car But my absolute fav car has to be the Murcielago in NFSC , the one in most wanted sucked because of the the bodykits. :)

Your favorite is the GTO? That's interesting, but as far as the fastest car goes, that's completely incorrect. I would have to say that either the Toyota Celica, Nissan Skyline, or the Nissan 240SX.

I've got those rims on my Xsara.
Well actually, the new version Compomotive MO-6.
And they're not light at all.

Have to disagree, the fastest and best overall car is the Toyota Celica believe it or not.

My new favourite cars:

Tuner:
WRX STi 08 in WRC form, looks MUCH better.

Muscle:
Shelby Super Snake or 1962 Buick Special

Exotic:
Koenigsegg CCXR and Bugatti Veyron

yes, i believe it was brought out recently, doesn't matter though, the 65 looks exactly the same as the 63 (right? i can't spot any differences).

It's the range-topper before the CL63, at which point they stopped producing the twin-turbo V12 which powers it.
Incidently, it's also the basis for the Brabus CLS "Rocket" which is the fastest "production" saloon car in the world, at 218mph

The CLS has been in production for a good few years now. The -65 motors were expensive, unreliable and didn't generate anywhere near the horsepower that a twin turbo V12 should (612bhp? Pfffft, less than 100bhp/l with two turbos!) so it's good riddance as far as I'm concerned

Very true, especially when a 6.2 L V8 can produce over 500 hp (in the 63 AMG).
