truthfully, even though i know its hard to make this game and it would be another huge project to do it, i am kind of dissapointed that there is no damage yet. i don't care that it needs to be realistic, it needs some form of it, maybe like forza 2's.

New Preview from GameSpy PS3. To all those that are doubtful, there is going to be an update to incorporate damage after Prologue is released. Read about it on the second page, along with the fact that it may be a free PSN download.

And SCEE themselves publish it.

Good news, everyone! 40 FULL EPISODES of Top Gear along with the TopGear Test Track will be available on GT5 thanks to a new partnership with the BBC.

Yep, I’m pretty confident I’ll be buying an HDTV for my bedroom just for GT5. I might also take work off and hibernate in my room for a couple of weeks.

I feel as though a new GT5 thread should be created, and this one deleted. The crappy introduction to this thread is annoying me.

I like the fact that they also got the WRC license...and despite the fact there isn't really any driver skill involved and it's on oval courses what's wrong with NASCAR? At least they're getting real motorsports licenses...

NASCAR SUCKS.....redneck sport.

Oooh they're taking a left turn... they're taking a left turn.... ooh wait... they are taking a left turn... hmm I wonder what will be next....

The idea of official licenses isn't bad.... and I like the overall look of the game... love the look of the the WRC races etc.
but I really hope you don't have to drive 225 miles on a banked circuit.... cause... man that will be boring.

I actually watched a couple of nascar races and I realized that they are not that boring. Especially when those epic crashes come.

GT5's graphics are amazing, so life-like and the gameplay looks great too. I'm sure this is gonna be one of the, if not probably the best sim coming out 2010... or if not by then, I'm sure it'll be one of the grand (excuse the pun) sims ever.

The only downfall is that the GT series is PlayStation exclusive. Although it was easier to get a PS2 back in the day, it doesn't seem so easy getting a PS3... and sadly, no PS3 emulators... *yet*.

Hmmm. I'm debating on whether or not to get GT5 Prologue...

I need a racing game (on my PS3, keyboard = fail racing) that is fun, and I've played it before, although it was with the Driving Force GT steering wheel. I liked it but there was a limited number of tracks. THOUGHTZ?

Well I love it, but yes the lack of tracks is a major nuisance. And it's worlds different (obviously) from any other Gran Turismo. It will keep you entertained for a while though, to be sure.
