I used to live down the road from a TVR garage. After that normal Aussie V8's don't really sound that impressive any more!

Also used to live near Caterham in Surrey so seen tons of those. Outlandish for me was a Murcielago, Countach 5000, Diablo GT, Diablo SV, an Exige was a rare sight too.

Over here though seeing any Ferrari or Porsche is scarce, or even Jaguar, Merc or BMW :o

Hey everyone! reDFlag/-hidden- back from the dead :D ! I've never been lucky enough to see a TVR in real life. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they're legal down in the US. It's a damn shame too..

I've always wanted to see a Countach irl. That's probably one of the few exotics I'd ever consider buying.

That reminds me, actually: I saw a Porsche 959 on the road, the other day.

959? That's pretty damn rare.

A red Ferrari F430 was parked next to me at the mall a few days ago. Probably the only one in the whole city.

Today I saw white Nissan GTR and it was lefthand drive, it's the first one I ever seen, cause it isn't officially for sale yet (as far as I know)

Other then that what I seen the last couple of days:

- 911 GT3 (997)
- 911 GT2 (997)
- 911 turbo (996)
and loads more other 911's way to many of them where convertibles.

Ummm, I'm not sure if this is possible, but I definately saw a Chevrolet Camaro, AND a Pontiac G8 (the one based on the commodore).

The G8 was in left-hand drive, and had warnings, but the camaro wasn't...

My question to you is: is the G8 better-looking than the plain-vanilla Commodore or is it still just as boring?

(I've said this before, but G8s still aren't terribly common around here, so I'm not thoroughly bored of them yet - I am bored of the V6 ones, though, in addition to V6 Mustangs.)

I still go :O for Camaros and Challengers that I see where I live, but rarely do Mustangs make me very excited - as I've mentioned before, even V8 Mustangs are a dime a dozen. Saleen, Roush, or Shelby Mustangs, though, do get my attention, as well as more tuned V8 Mustangs.

Anyway, I saw a 370Z and several 350Zs in the SunSplash parking lot yesterday :D

I saw my second new Camaro, the other day. Still meh. Nothing really special, in my opinion, and they don't even look that good. Challengers look much better, but those things are almost as common as Mustangs, already. :P

I saw 2 camaros this past weekend. The 1st was a bright orange burnt orange (was in the sunlight at sunset may have been a darker orange) and then 2 days later a black one with red stripes down the middle. Personally at the beginning of the year the Challengers blew up in terms of me seeing them every once and a while. Now you hardly see them. Mustangs are still getting as common as seeing camrys. Even roushes and saleens.

Cars I saw in Japan:
Maserati Gran Turismo
Ferrari F430
Bentley Continental GT
Ferrari Testarossa
and a whole bunch of RX-7s, Skylines (both R33 and R34), Chasers, Legacy, S14, and a lot of other cars I need to look up to see what they were.

I have seen a few around town during the past few months, and I drive past a white R35 every morning in a showroom. Though I think theres only one nissan dealer that sells them in Perth atm... so they're very limited till next year.

Well they are in Australia, someone obviously hasn't been reading their magazines. MOTOR, Top Gear Australia, and Wheels have all had reviews of the Aussie-spec GT-Rs and on Australian roads.

I'm in California right now (still on vacation), and since my "I'm gonna be gone" post, I've seen:

- an Alpina B7, in black with smoked tail-lights - pretty sweet.
- a 2010 Shelby GT500
- several WRXes, including at least one STi
- an older Golf R32 and then a newer one, both in the same shade of blue
- a few other cars I can't remember right now, but I'll post them when I remember

Saw plenty, but this one strikes me most: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Not only is it a rare Ferrari (usually what I see are the usual 360, F430 and 599), but this is my first time seeing it in black. It makes it look much fiercer than the usual purple. :)

Also notice across the road, there's also an SL55 AMG. :)
