New Showroom Moderators
To further moderate the NFSUnlimited Showroom, TW1ST3R, as well as myself - Dr Houbenheimer, have joined the site's staff group. We'll be moderating the Showroom, keeping it clean from unrelated uploads, including users who post each view as a new upload, as well as making sure everyone obey's the rest of the general rules.
Additionally, we'll be running a new Showroom Challenge in the near future, stay tuned for future updates.
Thanks for the welcome, and if you have any suggestions, feel free to contact either of us.

Re: New Showroom Moderators
Thanks guys, and glad you noticed the new sig/avatar TW1ST3R Not sure if I like it though, might try something else, what do you think?
And in regards to the SRC, the next challenge will be a World comp. but for those who don't play World, the next one will be UG2/Prostreet/Shift. The theme poll will be up soon, so watch this space.

That's quite cool! Tell me, will you make pictures that aren't downloadable right now available for download?
Also, perhaps wait for a World competition? Cuz right now, World is... Not ready yet to make good looking cars. I've noticed on my new profiles that some categories of vinyls that were unlockable by leveling up are now boost only. And those categories are the ones people really needs to make complex vinyls modifications. So, people who have an older profile would have some unfair advantage over the people that started to play lately.

Re: New Showroom Moderators
What pictures are you referring to?
And you raise some fair points about World, however I considered it the bets option since we had 97 entrants in our last World Challenge. As for unfair advantage for people that had an older profile, you can't enter a car that you've already uploaded to the Showroom previously, so everyone will be on a level playing field.
Issues noted though, and as I said, we'll try and go back to UG2/Prostreet/Shift with the next challenge.

Congrats guys.
*sig removed for breaking the rules. size limits are 550x120px & 50kb*
Re: New Showroom Moderators
Dunno exactly why some images are not downloadable, but there's another way you can DL them. Hover your mouse cursor over the picture you want to DL, then hit F5 (refresh page) and immediately left-click that picture while the page is re-loading. This way you will kind of 'force' the browser/page to show you only that image, and when that happens - just Save As..RBA wrote:(...) Tell me, will you make pictures that aren't downloadable right now available for download?
edit:
Right-clicking the thumbnails and selecting 'Open in new tab' (FFox, SRware etc) does the trick as well, and is easier obviously :]

Welcome aboard!
Yeah nice sig there, Dr. Houbenheimer.
There's just a slight problem.. It breaks the forum rules haha.
So could you just make the filesize a bit smaller, or will I have to do it for you?
Forum police officer Pabl0z, signing out.
Peace.

Re: New Showroom Moderators
Now that...is awkward I must admit, I overlooked the filesize, I only checked to see if the dimensions were good
