No, TXS. Volta is hybrid and concept... This is pretty much real deal, and by the looks a direct successor of Supra. That's why I thought it would be very interesting to you. Suprised you don't know about it (shuold I feel good about myself!! :)). Surely you'll dig up some info on it, its proportions are Supra-ish. :D

All I know is this:
Price: 100000 Dollars (for a toyota  !)
Engine: V10 @ 500hp
Debut: Tokyo Motorshow 2005
It is dimensions wise a direct successor to Supra, but with more power. Those are the only pics around atm. Oh, and it will be sold in US and Japan, and in EUrope later i think. So there.

that "future supra" looks much better than the volta concept... at least from what i can see behind the shroud...

how can u compare Volta and 'future supra' covered in camougflage? it's like comparing Aston Martin DB9 and Lamborghini Murcielago...
Only similarity is that this 'supra' will probably use Volta's hybrid engine. :O

I would take that money and buy a R34 Nissan Skyline GTR spec-v, and then make it flat black, and put the other 100,000 in then enigne, keep it right hand drive, not i dont know where you live but in CA i have only seen one Skyline in my life and it was driven by a old italian guy (left hand drive) and i just sat there stareing at his car and then he revved it....any how, that car is known buy people so you get the status symbol of the "exoctic car" because inthe U.S. it is. plus it woudl be faster than almost any car there on the street depending what you did to it......still love the supra though

Skylines should be right hand drive, as they were all made in Japan, for Japan.

I think in Japan you can have LHD or RHD. Doesn't matter.

although you guys who support the exotics made some good points i would take the modified car anyday. reasons: 1. faster than any exotic 2. nicer looking than any exotic 3. exactly the way you want it. i would pick either the s2000 or an evo (probably a newer one). but thats just my oppinion.

1. Faster? uhm... maybe
2. Nicer looking? Not always. I remember a hilarious Viper with Eclipse rearlights.
3. Exactly the way you want: totally agree.

LOL that's right Stig. :D

An RS6 is perfect. Twin turbo V8, AWD, good looks, luxury interior, and all with the space of a station wagon. Mmmmmmmmm . . .

Definately mod a car. If it were about 700k, id just pick the Mclaren Mercedes Benz SLR. But for my modified car, I would import an Altezza RS200, and work on that, cuz i like the looks of the IS300 style. Handle good and go pretty fast stock. Stock has been radared at about 150 MPH. Not bad id say.

I would get a DB9, an Exige and then still have money left over for the V10 Diesel VW Touareg and a Yamaha R6. :D

Sorry for all the pics, i had to show them...and of course the DB9 and VW won't be looking that good, or else i would go over 200 grand. but i'll save up the money for them

well i think that i might be out of topic but, lets just say that forget about the 200 grand thing, i dun wan to talk about the money and how fast it can be, how pround you feel about the car... just simply the choice of a stock exotic or a japs imports/market trolley modified car.

when you start mod a car, you might having problems, engine mountings, suspension + brakes, ECU remaping headache & etc (most of all goverment vehicle safety rules :) ). its just an experience and you know the feels of after modifying you car. a test drive that amaze you that you can never do anything like that before the mod-ing. i am not a hardcore car mod-ers. just that, you know, the satisfaction. I bet most of the car mod-ers will have some sort of experince right ? yes my market-trolley has become a better market trolley

when i sat in an exotic (which is not mine), i just don't know what can i do about that car and yes its amazing, it can do alot tricks that my modified car can't do. just that it feels strange...

well all what i say its just my own preferences, i maybe like building up things alot, perhaps i played too much of "LEGO" such of toys when i was young. and i really like to mod my car with other mechanics even though i paid them.

All exotics except for the porsches, can barley be used beacuse of the power, the cluthes would have to be replaced every 1000 miles ,ect. If I had a choice, i would pick a skyline that was modified over a exotic, If you parked at a Taco Bell with a exotic, some1 would dent it, key it,ect. What if you hit something, you would have to order parts from Europe, ect.

Not everyone lives in America you know

Like here in Aus, your car will very rarely get keyed or coined, and exotics are more highly regarded.

And if you have enough money for an exotic, then the price of parts and maintennce wouldn't be an issue.
