Yeah exactly, dx10 only allows you to use the new features and technology.
It doesn't mean older cards cant out perform. :|

Do you need Vista for this? I just deleted Vista because it sucks huge time compared to XP Prof. Pack 2 (which I'm running now again).

Pre-ordering the Limited Edition tomorrow or Friday....

Yay at being able to run it on Very High (PC is better than recommended system), and at 1680*1050 the game will look gorgeous, I just hope they don''t rob widescreen users' like Bioshock did, and instead we get more width view over normal 4:3 ratio screen users.

I doubt the 8800GTS will do the job @ Ultra Quality, you have to remeber the Crysis is was optimised for older cards but Crytek have said they've still got alot of potential in the engine so expect more better graphics when newer cards are release. I think they said Crysis is ready for DX10.1....i'm not sure.......

DEMO comes out 2moro!!

Well, the 8800GTS is the ultra recommended card to play it on MAX, and I assume it means all the options available + all the textures and high resolution.

YEAH! demo comes in my b-day!!!! =D>

That's a nice present for me!!!!
