Anyways, thanks for all the tips, I think I have solved the problem. I'll finish this vinyl AND someone ELSE saves it @ Photoshop. For example, I save the vinyl as CROSS_VINYL_INTRO_UNIQUE.jpg and that someone saves it as CROSS_VINYL_INTRO_UNIQUE.dds in Photoshop. Any volunteers, this is not such a big thing what I am asking?

I will upload the file here soon.

DO NOT save it as JPG as it causes quality loss. Save it as a PNG instead as it will retain transparency and will cause almost no loss of quality. I'll do it for you over the weekend.

Ok, here it is. It needs fixing and might need a lot (my GIMP got confused and I had to start from 10% and I was on 60%). Thank you for your help.

EDIT: Ok, everything fixed. Now it should be ok to everyone, I also fixed it to a bit clearer from graphics. Now, prince1142003, just take those and save as .dds.
EDIT2: Oh, and btw, if someone wants to use this as his/hers body of Cross's intro vinyl (which I do not believe to happen) then, go ahead and use it.

I'm not going to edit the picture for you. Make a mask as well and upload it.

Photoshop my friend, and the correct plug-ins, AND the debug.dds of each car. Use MWtex to extract the debug.dds.

isnt there a vinyl tut around here somewhere. but yea if like xturbo said you need PS and it is like 649$ for PS, there are other ways of getting PS but we are not going to go there

I have all da tools but I've tried to do it but it's 2 hard.

Well the most hardest thing about vinyl creation is colors. They don't work as they should always. Little practise and you will learn quickly. For example, my vinyl:



It took hours to create this AND fix it.

I used to have a vinyl for nfsu1 that i'd really like to have back but although i was looking for it i didn't found it. Maybe someone is able to recreate it for nfsu2/mw for me

It's basicly a vinyl that modifies the color of the car. Example:

vinyl color 1: red
vinyl color 2: red
vinyl color 3: red
vinyl color 4: red

brings a pure red (on white base)

vinyl color 1: red
vinyl color 2: white
vinyl color 3: white
vinyl color 4: white

should bring a very light red/pink an so on. On nfsu it worked with all cars, so i think it should work on all nfsu2 cars as well.

Would be really great if someone could manage to help me

Okay i know some people what the 2F2F Supra vinyl so like ive got the one nietzko made

and transported it to the most wanted supra debug and yeah it turned out very well tho the colours are all rong i dont have that much experience on colouring vinyls for most wanted so all the colours are all crappy but im trying to sort it out
