You can actually fit two turbos in there atleast with CA18DE engine, dunno if you can do it with KA24DE.

Ouch, I'd hate to see how packed that engine bay would be with the full turbo hosing and cooler.

yeah it's gonna be tight, but I've think I've seen a pic with piping also. I'll see if I can find a pic later. This project is from Finland and there's also another one.

BTW even the ppl doing these have admitted that there's really no point ;)

Well the fins do some very stupid things
Like an E30 316i with a 5.7L BMW V12 from an 850CSi, a Procharger race-spec supercharger, 300bhp of nitrous and over 1200bhp in total. For ice-drifting, of course. Oh, and its on 325 brakes. Single piston brakes.

But on ice you don't really need brakes coz there's usually snowbanks

Brilliant to watch though. Some of the Swedish/Norwiegen/Finnish cars were at Bimmerfest. Including a Twin-supercharged, 5.0L E39 M5-engined in a E28 5-series. Absoultely dribble-worthy.

Depends on how open the lake is. Apparently, the E30's hit 180 on ice before

hey man, theres no use in TTing this baby, Regular turbo would be alright, but have you ever thought about supercharging it? it turns out great in the end, you get more power off the line

Yeah, but its highly unfeasable on an already turbocharged motor. My suggestion is a Garrett T34RS hybrid, 550cc injectors, custom ECU, forged pistons, a nice Spearco w/a cooler and the basics (cams, manifold, uprated gasket ect) and you'd be good to go.

The T34 isnt really a great turbo, and on something that size, I wouldnt think 555cc injectors would be up to the job, you'd be very close to maxing them out. Hell, Ill be running 444cc (S15) injectors when I upgrade to the T28R, which is slightly smaller than the GT28RS I had on the black one. Also at that spec, Id doubt you'd need forged internals. Im not sure which particular engine we're talking here, Im assuming KA24DE as its a thread about a 240SX. The KA24 is probably the most sturdy block of the range of SX engines, as it should be, its taken from a Nissan Terrano! The SR20s can hold quite some power on stock internals, but you'd definitely be looking at a new 'box. :D

Just thought Id add my two cents. :)

It is, although KA-T conversions are becoming ever popular as people realise they hold just as much potential as the SR20s.

here in chile 240sx are few. They are 5000 to 8000 dollars (here we need 4.500.000 of pesos --> the chilean money) to buy a USED 240sx, but still it's a great car here.

You paid 3k for an S13? Wow, thats pretty harsh considering they usually fetch about £800 here, and we have the CA18DET. :D

It depends on the condition, but on average they fetch less than 1k. I paid 2k for mine, but it was low mileage, FSH, perfect bodywork etc. :)
