The main argument about Crysis not coming to the consoles 360 and PS3 is because on the technical part wouldn't be possible, because DX10 is missing.
There could be a change for the XBOX 360. ATI recently announced that on the 360 it's possible to install DX10 by an update. It could mean a lot of DX10 games coming to 360, especially with XNA and cross over programming. It looks like a clear case when Microsoft is talking about Live anywhere. If new games will use DX10, it would be more then likely that the 360 runs DX10.
Crysis is one of these games. In this video interview the president of Crytek is telling at this moment, in this form it won't be released on other platforms then PC also because it would be technically hard and scattered resources, but with the new information from ATI and DX10 for XBOX 360 that could all change.

Get a Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 or 6700 or you can get the Core 2 Quad E6600Ludford wrote:I'm thinking of building this PC to run it, plus all other modern games like stalker, F.E.A.R and oblivion
Intel Core Duo
Vista
1MB RAM
8800GTX
700w PSU
will this do?
1Gb for Vista won't work get at least 2GB or 3GB
8800GTX is good but i rather wait for the 8900GTX that will be at the same price as the GTX is now and it will come out in July-August.
700W PSU is good just watch out which brand you buy, get Enermax for that high Watts.

I've decided that I will simply upgrade my current PC becuase it'll be cheaper, so all I need to do is buy an 8800 GTX and a 700w PSU i've been looking at.
2 questions....
1. won't putting 700w through a motherboard that runs at 150w damage it?
2. how much will having a Pentium 4 instead of duo effect proformance?
..............................................................................................................
Price:
BFG 8800 GTX: £399
700w PSU: £69
Vista basic: £65
TOTAL: £533

Can't wait for this game to be released... I am planning to get a whole new PC for playing it at 20" widescreen (big enough for me, I am used to 15 inches 4:3 lol)
The zero-g final part must ROCK. I am only a bit dissapointed about they told us the whole story before we played it, kinda "spoiler"... but neccessary to attract more buyers lol.

Who actually reads anything related to the story of a game beforehand, that's usually why you play through games and let the story 'unfold' : o
Definitely looking forward to this game, hence my going to buy a nice crapload of hardware (final cost is gonna be 1916 aud) to build myself a new computer.
Can't wait to really give the pc a crack with Crysis running at 1680x1050, and with aa + af....... *drools a bit*
