I think it's because pretty much all cars are getting worse-looking all the time (in my opinion); the best-looking cars ever were made between 1985 and 2005.

Think about what you just said. That would mean ALL cars are ugly. The car you drive now was at one point a concept. Then they adjusted a couple lines and made a full car. But it's still the basic concept design.

That, and the Mitsubishi HSR concepts looked pretty good; and the Honda HSC concept doesn't look that bad (although it's no NSX continuation - although I'll believe 'NSX replacement' - regardless of what they say).
