Favorite Car?
Jeez, I hate having to explain the Autobahn to peeps. I've already done it at least once, I'll see if I can find it and post it here so you'll know that the Autobahn isn't, "OMGWTFBBQ AUTOBAHN, NO SPEED LIMIT, GO AS FAST AS I WANT, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!11shift+1"Toshiro wrote:Go to Germany for that. Autobahn.
xHaZxMaTx it depends on where you are in Germany but on some highways in germany there is no speed limit only a advised speed of 130 Kmh (81 MPH)
And most ensurance companies won't pay if you damage your car while going over the advised limit.
And there is a big diffirence between driving fast and driving reckless, cause reckless driving is punished badly there.
I've been to Germany countless times and drive on the Autobahns often. As long as you drive fast on the times and parts where it can be done and do it save there is no problem.

Well, having never been there, I can only guess from what friends have told me. I mentioned a friend stationed in Germay. He drives the Autobahn a lot. He tells me, and I quote from an email he sent me a year ago,xHaZxMaTx wrote:Ya, I know, but it seems that everybody thinks that the Autobahn is just a road where you can drive however you want.
"Its really a matter of how you drive, not how fast you drive. You can still get in trouble for driving recklessly - its not like you can do a hundred million miles an hour and get away with it just because you're on a road with no posted speed limit. I myself have never been pulled over, but I have passed by quite a few nasty wrecks that have served as warnings to slow the hell down now and then."
I don't think I'd be one of those Speed Racer type drivers who just cruises along the 'bahn at about 170mph. I have a leadfoot, but I'm not a moron. I also do not draw judgement on things I know nothing about, like driving on the Autobahn, for example.
*sig deleted for being too big. limits are 550x120px and 50kb*

Wow. A lesson in how to through money at a mundane yank car that doesn't handle, to make a mundane yank car with bling that handles and rides even worse, and would go fast in a straight line if it could get all the extra power onto the road.BKize_GT wrote:My favorite car is the Ford Mustang GT (wow, really?)
My dad has one with lots of modifications like lowered, 19" rims, he's about to put on a supercharger.
