Does anyone know a simple way to get the colors right? Cause i made a vinyl but my colors are wrong ingame! Like in photoshop something is red and ingame it's blue. I know cause i made some vinyl for nfs underground. But there has to be an easy way to do it. Hope u guys know what i'm talking about and i hope someone knows a solution. And everytime i use bintex0,4 it says: stop statement encountered and i can't load with bintex. I think with bintex0.4 i can fix the color problem.
i made a vinyl for ug2 just to see how it turns out, it looked pixelated and black and white. when i went to the tuning curcuit it disappeared, then i went back to the main menu and the game crashed. either the game doesnt accept it, or mwtex has got some major bugs.
Time to show u guys some progress screens It has bad quality cause i had to resize the original textures sow. And i have to make the pink X gold then it's finished. Hope u guys like

The method written in the BinTex ReadMe should work fine:
BinTex ReadMe wrote:Special Notes On Unique Vinyls (Adobe Photoshop 7/8):
Unlike normal vinyls, unique vinyls may use colors other than red, green, and blue. However, due to a format difference for the texture palette in the DDS files, the red and blue color channels are swapped. This needs to be fixed by one of the following methods:
With Photoshop:
On the menu, go to Image->Mode->Adjustments->Channel Mixer
Choose Red as the output channel. In the source channel, enter 0% for Red and 100% for Blue.
Choose Blue as the output channel. In the source channel, enter 0% for Blue and 100% for Red.

it works here (for MW at least, makes sense as its BGR encoding instead of RGB) so you might have done a step wrong.
maybe...i just didn't get it to work :\ Wel i solved an other way. I just exported a vinyl with the right color ingame and opened it in photoshop and then i compared it with the custom vinyl it works also but it's just more work
For those who are interested i uploaded my Apex RX-7 vinyl!
And A Subaru WRC!
I'm so bored today so i made the 2f2f lancer! I uploaded it sow it can be downloaded soon!
download mwtex
download and unzip/unrar a vynil
start mwtex
right mouse click and load: c:/programfiles/eagames/need for speed most wanted/cars/RX-7/vynils
search for the name of the .dds file from the vynil you downloaded. for example RX-7_UNIQUE01.dds
then right click on it and select import. Then select the file RX-7_UNIQUE01.dds from the vinyl u downloaded. Do the same with the RX-7_UNIQUE01_MASK.dds
close the program and start nfsmw and the RX-7 unique vinyl 1 will be replaced by the vinyl you've downloaded.
Hope you understand cause i am too lazy to type more!
