So its been more than a month i guess since Arushan started working on a ferrari mod for NFSMW, and all of us have been waiting for updates since that, and here it comes now, a new video showing a preview of the car, i'll just force you to go and download it right away, we should all thank Arushan for the great work he has done so far.

wow! That's Amazing. At first i thought its just gonna be the model of the car and use one of the existing engine sounds from the game, but WOW its actually got a ferrari engine sound!

HOW?? someone please explain how someone could just put in their own engine sounds in the game and not be working at EA? He owns a ferrari and recorded them? i highly doubt it, please explain how this is possible.

maybe he took the sounds from HP2...
btw, video looks great!!! i wonder also the car reflection update wasn't at full slider. Also noticed that his sparks at the end when he crashes are veru different from mines...mines are ugly and pixelated somehow...

Maximum credit to the guy. It's looking pretty awesome. No driver in the car though and number plate is ND4SPD as opposed to NFSMW.

If only I had the skills to create my own cars for MW. I'd start with the Freestream/Caparo T1 or possibly Bugatti Veyron - maybe a suggestion for his next project... :D

Sorry about the Widescreen video... that's probabbly why it looks stretched.

There were some left over sound files for the Ferrari 360 engine in MW.. those sounds were used. However, these sound files don't have certain samples... that's a bug I can't fix. Just be happy that it sounds like a Ferrari for now :).

There is a driver in that car, it's just not visible enough on Mike's graphics card... looks fine on mine here, but my card is way too laggy to get a decent video capture. And license plate texture is from NFS6, so it says ND4SPD, but in the release version.. it's going to say something else (not NFSMW).

i have to admint arushan did an excellent job, i don`t like ferrari, but this guy made an awesome job!

is there possible to add another cars, like an Skyline?!

anyway, great job arushan, keep up the good work, and you`ll end up where u want to :wink: 8)

lol that was a really bad promo vid ! . The cars looks nice but the vid doesnt live up to the car to say the least :P

Not everybody has such a super high performance computer you do BAM BAM.

The movie is to show that the car works, and that the sounds do work.

Now did it accomplish that?? yes

so is the movie succesfull?? yes

I have a question, why is the 3rd gear going so slow if compared to the other gears ?

its like:

1st: ----- x
2nd: ----- x
3rd: - - - - - - - - - - - - x

x: shift point.

isn't that how it usually happens? the higher the gear, the longer you can go without having to shift?

but its un-normal in that Ferrari if compared to other cars, just watch it again and you will know what i mean. It seems like if he has shifted to the 4th or 5th gear directly before getting the 3rd gear, thats how it sounds.

arushan's still working on the performance specs. AFAIK, that and some other minor things are what he's still got left to finish.

Noticed that too, and he barely got out of 3rd for two seconds when he was already giong like +150.

The performance specs do need some work. I haven't been able to find a source for detailed info on the ferrari 360. Here are the values I'm using currently... feel free to do some research, and post any new data with references to them.

I am happy that it sounds like a Ferrari but could you please tell me where these left over Ferrari sounds are?

and does this mean EA recorded a Ferrari but then decided to not include it in the game? I'm Confused.

AND U WILL FIND WAY MORE THAN FERRARI THERE
300ZX 240 SKYLINE S2000 M5 ETC
PROBABLY EA PLANNED TO LAUNCH CARBON LAST YEAR BUT DUE TO SOME DIFFICULTIES WE GOT MOST WANTED
