I was thinking that they were mentioning Hemi for the engine...you'll also notice Castrol Syntec Oil is mentioned at the end...prince1142003 wrote:Hmm, the Dodge Hemi which is mentioned in the credits is not in the carlist. It's an old school American muscle car, and there is a concept version of it as well. It'll be interesting to see which one makes it to Carbon.

True, but they do have the Dodge Charger R/T, which is basically old school muscle, as well as the Plymouth. So it's possible that the Dodge Hemi is in the game as well. And why mention it in the credits if the feature isn't even used? The only way I see Hemi used in the game if not on a car is if we have real aftermarket parts this time.
The name Hemi is used for the Chrysler 300C...since the version in the game has a Hemi engine...prince1142003 wrote:So it's possible that the Dodge Hemi is in the game as well. the Dodge Hemi isn't the name of the car, but the name of the motor. the cars that featured this large V8 were: Dodge Challenger, Plymouth Superbird, Chrysler Roadrunner, Dodge Charger & Charger Daytona, and the Plymouth Barracuda. if i missed some please fill me in.
the car list is updating quite well, a pagani would be crazy.. i couldn't imagine either the pagani nor the ccr with a body kit though, i wonder if they'll be able to have a kit or will it be like MC3 where the exoctics and super cars couldn't have kits?

Don't get your hopes up really high,
Cause things like challenger and Challenger concept does not always mean you will get 2 challengers. they are copyright/licence names.
1 copyright for the Challenger name.
and 1 seperate for the Challenger concept name.
It could very well be that we will have a old Challenger and a new one.
But the credits don't prove it.
Unless you see both cars in a screenshot you can be pretty sure they will be.

well in one of the screenshots it looks as if you can add body kits to the high end exotic cars. either that or you can just autosculpt the stock body. look at the picture of the carrera gt and challenger going head to head in a duel and you can see the back end of the carrera is very very wide, and very very hideous
edit: here's the picture i mentioned.

Nope, I mean, with bodykits, rims, spoilers, vinyls, the whole lot. With the right combination of them, you can make any car look nicer, wether its a tuner, exotic, or muscle. At the end of the day tho its a matter of taste, really.t3ice wrote:Nicely styled..u mean like the stock ones ...yup...
Oh and u can add body kits to exotics....
Its gonna be kinda weird seeing a WBK on a pangi zonda..IMHO
agreed.. everyone has their own veiw on their cars. i'd like to see what kind of kits are going to be on the old school muscle cars (big fan of muscle cars here). if nothing looks good i'll just keep them bone stock and work on the engine only i also heard somewhere that the Mercedes SLR will be back? i hope not...
